10 year old Sakura Mikan is devastated when her best friend Imai Hotaru transfers to a school for "genius" kids in Tokyo. Mikan runs away from home to seek out her dear friend, and soon finds out that the school Hotaru transferred to, Alice Gakuen, is specifically for children who have special powers called "Alice". There are many types of Alice including controlling the natural elements, reading peoples hearts, creating weird mechanics, creating illusions, and much much more. After a teacher at Alice Gakuen finds that Mikan has a unique Alice, she is admitted into the school, marking the start of a big adventures.
