Artist's Commentary
Darwin, the sort of addle-brained, rediculously smart one of the group of oddly-backstoried adventurers in my comic, Strange Gods. His species was obsessed with acquiring and writing down all knowledge in the cosmos (obsessive, no?). They were so absorbed in their mission that they never named their species, and often, never named themselves. Darwin was away when the rest of his species was killed off by an intentionally-spread virus. He then shacked up with the Kulaine, and has lived there ever since, and has since become the object of Kayley's unrequieted affections. He's cute... for someone who is over 200 in Earth-time. I kinda skimped on the rest of the work, because I spent most of my effort on getting his wings to look right. |
