It had been a long time since I haven¡¦t

been to Japan, for almost 5 years or more, and I miss my friends. A lot. Sora,

Tai, TK, Kari, Izzy, Joe and all the other new ones, and Matt. I miss all of

them, especially Matt, but he never phoned or e-mail me. I wonder what he looks

like now; he was totally cool when I first meet him. Sora said in one of her

e-mails that he was in a band now and they are very popular, and zillions of

girls chasing him yelling ¡§Matt! We love you!¡¨ He might even have a hot

girlfriend now, and maybe he has forgotten about me¡K



<Matt¡¦s POV>

Ring Ring!!



Matt: Hello? Ishida residence.



Tai: Hey Matt, it¡¦s Tai, do you have

anything to do tonight?



Matt: Well, no, why are you asking?



Tai: Good, we¡¦re going to the airport to

someone up.



Matt: Who?



Tai: Mimi, she¡¦s coming back for Christmas

from New York, I suppose you still remember who she is, don¡¦t you?



Matt: Of¡Kof course I do, when will her

plane arrive?



Tai: 9:30 pm tonight, we¡¦ll meet at the

airport at 9:00pm. You¡¦ll show up won¡¦t you?

Tai: Also, Mimi will be staying at your

place, TK said you have a spare room.



Matt: What? Mimi? Staying at my place?

she¡¦s staying at my place! Thank you so much TK, wait until you come back, you

won¡¦t pass your 17th birthday. But I still can¡¦t believe it. I missed her a

lot. I never missed a girl so much, maybe because I like her. No. I love her!

That¡¦s it! Because I love her! But I never told her. She¡¦s too beautiful for

me. Maybe she has a boyfriend now. When she told us that she was moving to New

York forever, I was shocked. But I thought maybe I would forget her. But I

couldn¡¦t. I can still remember her clearly, her lovely face, her sweet voice,

her big brown sincere eyes, her brown silky hair¡KI wonder how she looks like now.

Boy, it¡¦s so late, I better get ready.



<Mimi¡¦s POV>



Ladies and gentlemen, attention please, we will be landing

on Narita airport in Tokyo in about three minutes. Passengers please fasten

your seatbelt and pack your belongings, thank you for your attention.



Huh? I¡¦m already here!! Boy, it¡¦s sure

fast. I will get to see Matt very soon. I am very excited! We haven¡¦t seen each

other for 5 years! Oh, let me see if I make-up is all smudged and my clothes

are not wrinkled and my hair is not tangled.



Ladies and gentlemen we have arrived at

Narita Airport, thank you for traveling with us and hope you have a pleasant

stay in Japan.

<Matt¡¦s POV>



Sora: Tai, are you sure that we are at the

right place? You know, I don¡¦t want Mimi to get lost.



Tai: Yes, we are at the right place, she¡¦ll

arrive in any minute.



I was deep in thought. The girl I love is

coming back! It¡¦s just so impossible! I thought she¡¦s just going to walk out my

life and never come back. But she is coming back!



TK: Hello?? Matt?? Earth to Matt!!



Matt: What do you want?



Kari: Why aren¡¦t you talking?



Matt: I just don¡¦t really feel like to.

That¡¦s all.



That was a big lie. What would she think

when she sees me? Something interrupt my thoughts. Sora was yelling at someone.

I looked at the direction where Sora was

waving. I saw a girl with pink hair. She was carrying a quite big suitcase and

a bag. She looked completely different, she looked so mature, so¡KI don¡¦t know.

Not like before, she has lost her princess look. I won¡¦t recognize her if I met

her on the street.

I could hear someone calling me. It¡¦s Sora!

I looked around and saw the whole gang over there so I ran over to them.

Sora: Gosh, Mimi! What happened to your

hair? You dyed it pink?
