After much consideration and no explanation, he was ina vast apartment, covered in white carpets andbeautiful furniture, the violins played and dancedwith the candles as he could here from his shower, thebathroom was gorgeous, white marble and tile. Carvingsof angels up on the ceilings like the top of a churchceiling. He looked up at it for the longest time while the hotwater beat on his chest. The violins played in everyroom. Seemed like it was playing in a hotel orsomething, he smiled into the hot water, it seemedlike it had been forever sense he had, had a shower. But the fact was. He had just taken one early thatmorning for school. Then that happened, and all was lost. You could sayall was lost but would that be entirely true? Lookingup on the bright side, he would live out a life thatnone of his friends nor any of the people at schoolcould ever imagine, and those who did imagine it,died. As he sank deep into his thought, he was suddenlyshoved into the wall! The shower curtain came rippingafter him, he screamed as his shoulder was pinned tothe tile with a knife. "Die Phantom BEAST!" the person behind the curtainyelled. He only caught a glimpse of black hair beforehe fell completely into the hands of terror. The head split in to, a fountain of blood sprayed allover the bathroom leaving a bloody mess. // Guess it'sabout time I should be getting used to seeing blood //he thought to himself but he still didn't move. Theshower curtain protected him from being seen. Nanya seemed to let out an ethereal sigh. And hestepped over the corpse, and it disappeared intoashes, and they mixed deeply with the blood that laydispersed on the ground. On a near by hook, he reachedfor a white bathrobe that avoided the blood that wenteverywhere. He flung it over his shoulder and kneeledon the edge of the bathtub, Removing the knife from Soretsuki's shoulder, hedropped it and held his hand over the wound shovinghim lightly back into the wall. Soretsuki moaned inpain and his eyes tightened closed, the elf's skin wasincredibly smooth. He muttered some things and his flesh began to glow avery faint periwinkle. The wound seemed to reverseback into Soretsuki's shoulder, it closed up the sameway, in a backwards motion. "You got to get ready." Hewhispered to him quietly as Soretsuki looked over athim with hazy eyes. "We have a concert in a bout 2 hours." He helped theboy stand averting his eyes to the wall and handinghim the bathrobe, Soretsuki weekly took it and put iton, Nanya who brought him into a light hug helped himover the tub, "Nanya?" Soretsuki said standing in thepuddle of blood Nanya looked down at him. Stillholding the fair skinned boy in his arms, "What?" he said with the windy voice that seemedcalming, rather than startling like it had been whenhe first met him. The shadows rose from Nanya's spiritand all was well between the two. "Why...?" Soretsuki said weekly and quietly as heclung to Nanya's silk shirt. "Come on." He said quietly to match the mood of themoment. "You've got to get ready," He new what he was going to ask, and hell; he didn'twant to answer it! He sat Soretsuki down on the toilet seat and whippedhis feet from the blood they soaked up while standingon the floor. He took off his own shoes as he excitedthe room with the young boy and took him to his room,"We got to leave in a bout an hour." His voice wasstill quiet, Soretsuki's hair was still wet from thewarm shower that he had taken, and was now forgotten. "I don't have anything to wear!" he suddenly panickedin realizing that all his clothing was at his house helooked to Nanya in fear. He only smiled, "All yourstuff is in the closet," sure enough, he went to thecloset doors and opened them with a gentle slide, andall his clothing was there, "How?" he asked turningback to the Elvin friend of his. "That's a secret," he winked at him and left the room.Soretsuki looked at the closing door in an annoyance.Nonetheless, he had a concert to get ready for; theyexpected him to play music he didn't know. That wasfine with him, he pulled out a cerulean blue dress, itlooked silky and it was, at the bottom it was linedwith what seemed to feel like fur. But it was onlyimitation, the sleeves puffed up just a bit and weretight on his arms, One of his favorite dresses; he smiled at it inremembrance of how he got it. He laid it out on the bed, and spread it out, he ranhis hand across the fabric to get rid of a fewcreases, and he thought. // What will they think of mewhen they see me in this? The audience will think I'ma girl. // He smiled and decided to accept his fate, and excused the curse as a phantom. Looking pretty always made him feel better. If girlscould be pretty why couldn't guys? With that in mind, he went to the drawer and opened itto find all of his make up, and a blow dryer. // Theynew it was going to happen. // He thought, andproceeded to get ready for the night, about a half anhour later he was caking his face with make up. Girls usually didn't go to this extent, not that he'dseen, after all, he was an Asian beauty! He was in his dress; a pair of white gloves sat on thedesk with the huge mirror with the wooden carvedfigure of a dragon at the top. That would scare him atnight, oh well. There was nothing he could do about itbut close his eyes and pretend it's not there. A knock came on the door and he answered, "what?" heyelled rather loudly as he had some sort of pencil, doing something to his eyes, making them darker, hethen picked up a pair of bright yellow contact lenses, and put them in and the door came open. He growled, "Isaid what, not come in!" So used to saying this at home with his sister andother family members, " It's time." The intruderstopped in his sentence and went into a disturbedglare, putting in the second contact Soretsuki glancedto the door and saw someone he didn't know. He washolding back his personality just for him. "You are?" he blinked at him turning in the swivelchair. "I'm Sankanae." He said with a lapse in betweenwords, last time he saw this guy, he was. Well. A guy?Soretsuki only smiled, "I guess it's time for thatconcert Nanya's been telling me about." He saidsomewhat annoyed as he put on his gloves one by one, "Yeah…" Sankanae said grabbing his violin from thedesktop and then Soretsuki got up to join the rest ofthe group awaiting him in the living room. __________________________________________________
