Chapter Five: Who Are You?

As Mizuki woke up, she looked around to see that she was in a bed with light pink sheets with moons
all over it. Mizuki rubbed her eyes and& nbsp;started to panic when she saw the d oor starting to open. She
saw the s ame man that licked her wounds clean and healed them enter, face expressionless. &nbs p;
"Oh you're awake," Sesshomaru said,&n bsp;stepping into the room.
Jumping&nbs p;out of bed, Mizuki looked at him with& nbsp;questioning eyes, holding her fists in f ront of her.
"Where am I? Who are you?" Mizuki questioned.
"You are in my castle and I am Lord Sesshomaru,"& nbsp;the demon replied, staring at the pup.&n bsp;"Who are
you? Who's your mother?"
"Mama says to never give a stra nger my name even if he or she give s me their name," Mizuki stated.
Sesshom aru growled lightly at her but nodded hi s head, thinking of a plan. "Rin." ;
When the small girl came in, ;she ran into Sesshomaru's leg. "Yes Sesshoma ru-sama?" Rin asked him.
"Play with her, " he replied as he walked out.
&nbs p;
"Hi Rin is Rin," Rin said, sitting&nbs p;on the bed.
"I want my moth er now." Mizuki walked closer to the window, looking outside.
"R in says it's okay, you'll be with Lord&n bsp;Sesshomaru. What's your name?" Rin asked, ;finally hopping
down from the bed.
"Mizuki," she replied.
"Do you want to play with Rin?" the other&nb sp;girl asked.
"Yes," Mizuki responded.
X+X+X Kagome's POV X+X+X < br>
"Shippo, is this it?" Kagome asked.
"Yes," he whispered.
"Thanks Shippo. Sango, here, take him." Kagome handed Shippo over to Sango's arms.
&nbs p;
Kagome raced into the clearing as she& nbsp;looked from left to right. There was&nbs p;a barrier not too far away,
a sma ll form inside. "Toga!" Kagome cried, running over to him.
"Mom, I can't&n bsp;get out! It's Mizuki's barrier. She was&n bsp;thrown from the ogre when it exploded.&nb sp;She's to
the west!" Toga exclaimed. < br>
"Oh no," Kagome thought. She ;took down the barrier around her son an d gave him a large hug and
kiss.&nb sp;"I'm glad you are okay, son."
"Mom, are you going to get Mizuki now?" Toga whine d, missing his sister.
"Sango, tak e Toga back to the village and stay ;there until I have come back," Kagome a nswered
instead.
"Hai Kagome."
"Kagome!"
"Inuyasha, what is&nb sp;it?"
"I smelled Mizuki out ther e and she wasn't alone either..." Inuyasha&nb sp;responded.
"Well, tell me who w as with her," Kagome stated, dreading the&nbs p;worst.
"I smelled Sesshomaru's scent& nbsp;around her."
"Sesshomaru," Kagome whispered. "I'm going right now. Toga, you&nb sp;stay with Auntie Sango and Uncle
Inuy asha. Inuyasha, I need you to protect hi m." Kagome raced towards the west fortress&nb sp;where her
daughter was.
X+X+X Naraku's POV X+X+X
'The&n bsp;little miko has twins and they are Sesshomaru's. Well this is a very interesting development,' he
thought. "Kagura, go&nb sp;get Sesshomaru and Kagome's children. Take ;Kanna with you."
Nodding her head at him, Kagura walked out the door to&nb sp;look for Kanna, seeing the small demon&nbs p;
walking with her mirror towards her ro om. "Kanna, we have assignment."They both dis appeared into
the wind, and soared towar ds the palace.
X+X+X Sesshomaru's&nb sp;POV X+X+X
Sesshomaru watched the young pup have fun with his young ward, Rin, playing games he had never heard of before now. His pup †“ or maybe not his pup, but defini tely with Kagome's scent – yell ed
happily.
"Jaken."
"Y es Milord, you called this lowly servant?"&nb sp;Jaken asked.
"Send out my best& nbsp;tracker and bring me Inuyasha's wench," Sesshomaru ordered.
"Actually Milord, s he coming this way from what our guards& nbsp;says," Jaken stated.
"Make sure&nb sp;she comes here first."
"Hai Mil ord," Jaken said, taking his leave. He p osted a guard at the door to tell t he wench to go to
Lord Sesshomaru's ;study room.
X+X+X Kagome's POV ;X+X+X
Kagome raced towards Sesshom aru's fortress to get her daughter back. ;Kagome sensed a demon
getting ready to& nbsp;attack her, so she pulled out her b ow and arrow, aiming at the demon that&n bsp;was
behind a tree about 100 yards&nb sp;away from her. Shooting the arrow, she&nbs p;heard the demon scream in
pain as ;she continued on her way to Sesshomaru's&nbs p;home.
Aiming at different demons ;that sensed the jewel shards around her ;neck, Kagome fired her arrows
until her arrows were gone. She sensed stronger d emons coming her way so she dropped to&n bsp;fighting
position as more demons jumped&n bsp;out at her. She looked around thinking,&n bsp;'Great, it's got claws. That's
going&n bsp;to hurt.' She waited for the demon&nb sp;to attack first.
Sensing moveme nt behind her, Kagome jumped up and kick ed the demon in the face, throwing it&nb sp;back
into a tree. She jumped around&n bsp;the other demons, hitting most of them&nb sp;down for just a few moments
until&nbs p;one demon swung his claws at her. The& nbsp;demon wounded her right side badly, so&n bsp;Kagome placed
her hands together as a prayer of sorts, and called her purifi cation powers to her. The demons were moving again so Kagome leaped into the&nbs p;air. Her hands steadied her as she lan ded on the ground, her
back showing ;an eight claw wound. She screamed in pa in, quickly killing the demon that hurt her.
Looking around again, she counted t he rest of the demons. "Great, twenty le ft and I'm going down
fast now."
Whipping out her katana that was&nbs p;holstered around her thigh in hiding, she&n bsp;ran towards the group of
demons, pur ifying them as she hit them with her&nbs p;katana. With all of them down, Kagome steadied
herself against a tree, sending ;her aura out into the air to make sure that no more demons came to
at tack her.
Finished, Kagome looked at each wound and sighed, calling her he aling ability to her hands. She
healed&n bsp;her back wounds but didn't have enough&nb sp;for her sides or her arms. Kagome got up and started
to walk again, goin g directly to Sesshomaru's home.

X+X+X Sesshomaru's POV X+X+X
&nbs p;
Sesshomaru continued to look at the yo ung pup in his yard playing with Rin&nbs p;until he smelled blood
outside the wal ls. His beast growled loudly at him, try ing to get free.
'Stop.'&n bsp;
"MATE IS HURT."
'What? This Sesshomaru& nbsp;doesn't have a mate.'
Steadily , pictures were thrown into his mind of& nbsp;the night at the hot spring, Kagome's&nb sp;form under him,
begging him to stop.& nbsp;Sesshomaru's eyes widened in realization at&n bsp;what he did – what his ;beast did.
Such a disgraceful and disho norable act was committed by the Lord of the Western Lands, the very
Taiyoukai&n bsp;that enforced these laws.
'Beast, you forced her.'&n bsp;
"It was the only way to get her, since you had done nothing yet."
&nb sp;
'I'll talk to you later.'
So he was right, that pup with&nb sp;his sign was his heir and all the&nbs p;emotions he'd been experiencing were
from&n bsp;Kagome. Sniffing the air again, he ran&nb sp;out of the room and down the halls&nb sp;towards the front
door. Pulling open the door, he sped towards the gate, soon disappearing from sight.
X+X+X ;Toga's POV X+X+X
As he sat&nb sp;with his uncle waiting for his mother ;to come back with his sister, Toga felt that something
was wrong. He jumped&nbs p;up to sniff the air then crying out&nb sp;loud. "Mama is hurt and she's bleeding!"&n bsp;
Toga raced out of the hut with Inuyasha and the gang chasing after him. ;
"Mommy!" Toga cried, sniffing her ;out and running faster towards her. After&nb sp;a few minutes, he saw
her leaning&nbs p;against a tree with a puddle of blood& nbsp;dripping out from her side wounds. "Moth er!"
X+X+X Kagome's POV X+X+X&nb sp;
As soon as she heard her s on call out, Kagome looked behind her, s creaming. "Toga!" She fell onto
the grou nd, watching as her son ran towards her.
"Mother!" Toga cried as he l anded in her lap, hugging her tightly. < br>
Sensing someone coming, Kagome looked&nb sp;to her right to see Sesshomaru landing&nbs p;near her. Her fear
came back to h er and she pushed Toga quickly behind he r.
"Sesshomaru, you bastard!" Inuyasha& nbsp;yelled, coming into the area and drawing his sword. He ran at
Sesshomaru, o nly to be thrown into a tree.

"Mate," Sesshomaru called out, trying the&nb sp;word for the first time.
