One Piece -An Uncharted World
Summary:
Two years after Luffy became the Pirate King and defeated all obstacles that stood in his way; the Straw Hats obtained the One Piece, but never revealed it to anyone except for themselves. The treasure left behind by Gold Roger was not what anyone would have thought it to be, because most Pirates would have desired a great treasure that consisted of uncountable amounts of gold; however, it was not that at all. The One Piece was a message written on a small slab of Poneglyph:

“You, who have come to “this” place, know now that the value of treasure and power are nothing compared to the desires that your dreams must fulfill! The End of the World is not here…There is so much more to see and your dreams must flourish…Piracy is about living out your dreams, and now that you have accomplished my dream for me, I want you to go out there and continue to pursue your dreams to form the path to the Uncharted World! Go forth now, and live on in infamy, Pirate King!!!
Now, Monkey D. Luffy, dubbed the new Pirate King, has escaped the Grand Line on their new ship with only eight nakama: Franky and Paulie being their newest nakama. The journey continues from the Grand Line through the Blue Ocean in order to discover this “New World” that Roger spoke of.

Chapter I - An Unlikely Ally
The blue sea lapped at a large Brigantine-rigged Sloop-of-War as it drifted along in the ocean of West Blue. Luffy sat atop the lion's head of the Thousand Sunny, which was the name given to their ship by Iceburg when it was given to them. The nineteen year old Pirate King thought the name was cool, as he said, and decided to keep it as such for the time being; it simply stuck, so the name was never changed. He clapped his feet together rather wearily and sank back to stare up at the sky. “Nami! Someone! Are we even close to an Island yet? I am so bored…and I'm hungry!”

A cigarette was lit up by the notable chef of the Straw Hats Pirate crew as Sanji walked out of the kitchen in his dark blue shirt with his sleeves rolled up and a pink apron with a panda stitching on the front of it, “You are always hungry, Luffy,” The blonde haired man expressed his annoyance by blowing smoke in his general direction with a slight huff. “Just wait and the food I'm making will be ready momentarily…Idiot Captain…”
“Captain-san,” A feminine voice spoke up from above as a hand sprouted from his back and tapped him on the shoulder to get his attention. The voice belonged to Nico Robin, who was sitting in the Crow's Nest of the ship and reading a history book while keeping a lookout. “An island has come within my view, and it seems to be populated by a small village at the foot of a Marine's Base…What is your order?”

It did not take long for Luffy to decide as he stood up and pointed straight to the online, smiling widely and stamping his foot on the bow head of the Sunny. “Alright! We are to make port at the Island and ask about the New World! Marines or not, and I'm sure that they will know about it! Plus…We've been waiting for a new adventure!”
Sighing from inside of the Helm Deck, Nami nodded towards Chopper, who was in his Heavy Point form, in order to give him the signal to continue forward towards the Island that Robin had pointed out.

The Thousand Sunny docked momentarily and Nami, being the main tactician of the crew, decided that the group should be split up in order to keep the ship protected, “Luffy, Zoro, Paulie, and I will go explore the Island and see what we can find, and the rest of you will remain here in order to protect the ship.”

“Hai, Nami-swaaaaaaaaan!” Sanji cried out as hearts seemed to appear in his eyes, throwing his arms in the air and fluttering about the deck up until she left. His actions suddenly changed back to his apathetic personality as he walked into the kitchen and continued with his cooking.

Paulie lit up a cigar with a grumble of disdain and took a drag off of it, glancing over at Zoro and not commenting on his taciturn behavior, “Why did I have to be grouped with such an indecent woman as you, Nami? I'd have been better off on the ship with Franky.”
Nami was taken aback by Paulie's comment and looked down at her garment. She was wearing a blue jean skirt that actually reached her knees and a black shirt that exposed her stomach with a blue jean jacket over it. “What is wrong with the way I'm dressing this time!? You're impossible, Paulie…Honestly! Just go off with Zoro, then, and ask around the town about information.”

Nodding solemnly, Paulie trudged off with Zoro while Luffy and Nami were left alone to search the rest of the small town in West Blue.
“I'm more concerned about the fact that there is a Marine base here, Luffy,” Nami mentioned with a hint of distress in her voice. “Your bounty still stands at 300,000,000 Beli, and if the Marines know that you're here, which I am sure they do due to the massive size of our ship, they will no doubt send some of their strongest fighters after you.”

The Marines in question were inside of their base, and one of them lowered a small telescope which he was using to spy on the Straw Hats. “The colors of those flags signify Pirates, but even greater…is that the crew in question is the Straw Hat Pirates, and the Pirate King.” He turned to face his three companions, stepping out of the shadows and exposing his body to the light. The man appeared to be in his late twenties and had shoulder length black hair with eyes as blue as the ocean itself along with a piercing look to go with it. His garment did not consist of the typical Marine Captains clothing, but instead he wore a black vest with a black long sleeve shirt beneath it, black pants, matching boots, and a Marine Cape of the same color. “We cannot allow such a man to wander freely, especially not in our town…right?”

Another Captain rose from a sitting position and showed that he was a tall, giant of a man, reaching almost six feet tall. He had short, blonde hair that covered his right eye completely and a stern expression on his face; his eyes were a dark brown in color. The tall man wore a slick, black suit with a golden chain, golden pocket watch, and a golden wrist watch. Although he was part of the Marines, he was a Bounty Hunter as well, and had accumulated a vast amount of wealth due to his side job. “Captain Kuragari, it would probably be wise if we attacked those kids now and destroyed them before they caused any problems for us, especially if they attempt to break free our little prisoner.”

“I agree with Rick,” A disembodied voice replied as the door to their Captain's quarters swung open and a third Captain walked in. He wore a white, long sleeve shirt with golden buttons and a pair of dark blue pants. His hair was tied into a ponytail and black in color, and he had green eyes. “I, Hiruma, volunteer to go out there and kill them, simply because a crew like that is too dangerous to be left alive.”

The Captain named Kuragari looked back out at the window to the King of Beasts and then back at Rick and Hiruma, “All three of us will go while our other troops and the fourth Captain watches over our prisoner…”

Rick and Hiruma nodded in understanding and the three of them left the Marine Base in order to take a walk towards the Straw Hats ship and cause a disturbance for the unsuspecting Pirates.

“This sucks,” A nineteen year old boy growled as he kicked at the solid bars of the prison he was in, but whenever he got near them, he started to feel weak and had to back away. His appearance was pretty intimidating since he stood at about five foot ten inches tall and had sharp, yellow eyes with scruffy brown hair that almost looked like wolf fur. He wore a brown jacket with a white shirt beneath it and a pair of blue, carpenter's jeans with a tool belt strapped around his waist and a simple pair of brown shoes. “Those damn Marines managed to gang up on me and corner me, and not even my Garou Garou Fruit powers could overcome them.”

“Hey!” A metal bat struck the bars in order to quiet down the boy as the Marine Captain heard him talking to himself. “Shut up in there, Jeran Kedamono! You have not been given permission to speak!” The Captain that stood before him had a pale skin color to him which showed him as a foreigner, and he had short, slicked back brown hair and black eyes. He wore a dark blue cape with a white inner lining and a blue, long sleeve shirt with a black tie beneath it as well as a white collared shirt under it; he also wore a pair of black slacks with dark blue colored shoes to complete his ensemble.

“Captain Terry…I suppose you feel like a real big man for ganging up on one stowaway in order to capture him,” Jeran snapped at him in a snide fashion, growling and showing off fanged teeth, “Just know this: If I ever get out of this cage, I'm going to rip you a new one.”

Terry simply kicked one of the bars and caused it to bend slightly in order to shut Jeran up again. “You keep your mouth shut, and it's not like that will ever happen anyways! You will rot in this prison for the rest of your natural life, brat!”

A loud yawn escaped from Zoro as he walked along with Paulie, not really bothering to speak to any of the people in the town, mainly because they avoided all contact with them and kept their doors and windows locked completely. “These people obviously don't trust us since we're pirates, so I doubt that we can get any information out of them.”

Before Paulie could react, a loud gunshot pierced through the air and he leapt back quickly to avoid being hit as a rifle bullet plowed into the earth below him and ripped up the ground. “Marines!” He cried out, pulling out his ropes and looking up suddenly to see Kuragari, Rick, and Hiruma with his double barrel rifle out standing on top of a roof overlooking them.

“Two for me, and one for you,” Zoro stated, drawing out his Sandei Kitetsu and his repaired Yubashiri in order to fight the two Marine Captains on his own while Paulie dealt with the third. “Come on…It's been a while since my swords tasted blood, and they are really craving it now.”

A cold expression remained on Kuragari's pale face before he leapt down from his higher position and landed in front of Zoro and Paulie. “You are a fool for challenging three Marine Captains with just the two of you; even if you are Straw Hat Pirates…I highly doubt that you can defeat us all.” His form suddenly changed to that of a Raven as black wings slowly formed out of his forearms and draped to the ground, and a black beak sprouted in place of his mouth while his feet changed into talons. “This may only be my half-beast form, but it will be enough to take you down, Roronoa Zoro!”

“That's fine with me!” Zoro retorted, dashing towards Kuragari only to have Hiruma appear in his path, and without hesitation, he cut right through the Marine Captain only to find that it was a mere phantom image. “What!?”

“Karasu Hari!” Kuragari's arms crossed in front of his face and the feathers from his forearms flew out in a flurry of sharp, arrow-like quills that aimed to strike the distracted Zoro.

The swordsman had to react quickly and jump into the air in order to avoid being struck by Kuragari's attacks, but the raven appeared above his head almost instantaneously and hit him with his feathers at close range, sending Zoro falling down to the ground and now at the mercy of the Marines.

Before Paulie could rush to his aid, Rick came up behind him and struck him in the back of the head with a hard heel kick that sent the shipwright right beside his fallen nakama. “Shit…” He cursed, pushing himself up to his feet along with Zoro. “I didn't expect these guys to be that strong.”

Far from the battle that was going on, Luffy and Nami arrived in front of the Marine Base that towered over them. “Well, here goes nothing!” Without taking a second to think, the rubber boy grabbed onto two lamp posts and shot himself into an open window of the large building, startling a group of Marines in the process.

“Ah! This is…!” One of the petty officers began to shout, but he was hit in the face with a sandal and knocked to the ground and fell alongside his other allies. “Monkey…D…Luffy…”

An exasperated sigh escaped from Nami as she turned on her heel and headed back to the Thousand Sunny, “If I'm going to explore with anyone, then it had better be with someone who is of a greater intelligence level than Luffy…”

Luffy grinned and started to run through the base, causing quite a ruckus as he ran rampant, taking out several Marines along the way before he reached a set of stairs and a large, steel door at the bottom of them. “Oho…I wonder where that goes!” He leapt down the stairs and landed in front of the door, but noticed that it was locked almost as securely as Sanji's refrigerator. A frown crossed his face, but then it was replaced with another wide grin as he pulled back his fist and punched right through it, sending it flying forward and knocking out the Marine set to stand guard over the prisoners.

The Marine in question just happened to be Captain Terry, who was on guard duty over Jeran up until he was hit by the door and slammed face first into the cold, hard ground.
Jumping up, Jeran shifted to his half-beast Wolf form and readied his claws, growling viciously and trying to see who had busted in without going anywhere near his Kairouseki prison. “Who's there!?”

Popping up from below with a set of keys in his hands, Luffy tipped his hat up at Jeran and looked him over before smirking and unlocking the door without a question of who the stranger was or why he was locked up. “I'm Monkey D. Luffy! The Pirate King!”
