The Day and the Night

The Day and the night,
Oh do they fight,
On white and black horses of air
With flowing lights as hair,
And armor of light and dark

Their blades are of the finest crystal
And their saddles oh do they shine
The day wins in the daytime
The night wins at night
But till one prevails upon the other
Forever will they fight

As night and daylight
Their battle everlasting as the universe wanes
Forever to the day
That their fight began

So when then night comes upon you
Remember this
It’s only temporary till the next time they miss
