Other Fan Fiction / Horror Fan Fiction ❯ Terror ❯ Run, Run, Run... ( One-Shot )

[ P - Pre-Teen ]
This one I wrote a month ago, so its fairly new. That's good, right?

Run, Run, Run...

Run, run, run, that's all you think about.
As you dash down the twenty-four flights of stairs,
that's all you think about when you almost trip.
You make it to the lobby, but there's no on there.
You hear footsteps, and for a minute, you panic.
He's gonna catch you.
He's cursing.
Again your head is filled with one word;
Run!
Run, run, run; your brain comands.
You look around for an exit.
And you see the glass front doors.
You take off;
it doesn't matter if you have to crash through them.
Surprise, surprise; it's unlocked.
You burst ou and feel water.
It's raining.
For a moment, you almost stop, but you hear his voice again.
As you run and think of only one word,
the rain washes away :
the grime,
the blood,
the hurt,
and the fear.
But the rain will not wash away the nightmares and the memories.
But your getting tired.
And your slowing down.
But you want to get away.
And you don't recongize your surroundings.
And you hear his voice calling for you.
Then you see a police car.
And you scream for help.
You haven't talked in a while.
A women gets out and her eyes widen at your naked state.
She sees who is following you and pulls out her gun.
He turns and runs the other way; ignoring her orders to stop.
She goes to you without putting the gun away.
She brings you to her car and wraps you up in an emergency blanket.
You thank her and falls asleep while she is driving.
When you wake up, you are in the hospital.
And your family surounds you with tears in their eyes.
They tell you that they are glad that you are finally safe.
They visit for a while, and then go home.
You fall asleep
And you have a nightmare.
You're running and running but always run into him.
You awake to his voice and he tells you:
"Hello love. It's time to go home now."
"But you'll never run anymore."
As he picks you up, you just close your eyes; giving up.
You don't even have the ability nor the strength to scream.
You're tired from all that running.
'Run, Run, Run...'
