Red yelped as he slipped on a wet patch and went crashing into a wall. Lance winced as he glared at the janitor, who had forgotten to put up the Wet Floor sign. He rushed to the Champion's side and carefully helped him up.
“Are you all right, Red?”
“My arm…” Red ground out, between gritted teeth. Lance nodded, as he scooped the Champion up and carried him down the hall. They reached Red's room without further incident, and as Red palmed the door open, Lance took him inside and laid him down on the bed.
The Dragon Master's eyes glowed faintly blue as he touched Red's arm, before Red hissed in pain.
“The bone's broken, but I can fix that…”
Red smiled and waited as the pain faded away. If not for Lance's Viridian Power, he would have been in the hospital, and he did not like the hospital. The power didn't work as well on humans as it did on pokemon, but it helped a lot.
Afterwards, he stayed in the room while Lance stalked out, no doubt to fire the man who had caused his precious Champion injury. Red was not so sure it was an accident - two years at the Plateau had gotten rid of a lot of naiveté, and so, when Lance returned later, he simply smiled and didn't ask as he kissed his lover.
