“Red?”

“Yes, Father?”

“… I'm not going to ask.” The Dragon Master sighed.

“You're not?” Red asked, bemused. “But I filled the pool with lemon bubble bath while you were chatting to Daisy.”

“Yes, well…” Lance glanced at him. “I take it you were bored.” He said dryly.

“Yep!”

“Well, how about we take care of that problem right now,” Lance said, and scooped Red up into a hug. “Want to go out for ice cream?”

“You're not going to punish me?”

“Why should I? I hate the Cerulean sisters, and this gym should be abolished anyway. If this forces them to close their gym or their stupid water ballet shows, so much the better…”

Red just grinned as he bit into the chocolate-chip cone his father had gotten him.

“Besides,” Lance said, giving Red a discrete squeeze, “You were doing it on my orders.”

Red grin widened, and he hid a purr.
