Red glanced dubiously at the small, squat yellow container with the blue lid. “What is this?”

“Vaseline.” Lance said calmly, coming out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped about his waist. “Why?”

“… Do I even want to know why you have this?” The Champion asked.

The Dragon Master shrugged. “Take it as you will. I just find it handier than lip gloss.”

“… Lip gloss? But I thought…” Red blushed, which gave Lance a clear indication of what he had thought he used it for.

“… And here I was thinking you were innocent,” Lance purred, before he pounced. Red hit the thick carpet with an eep.

“… Somehow, I think you like me better this way.” Red managed to get out.

The Vaseline was forgotten.

I use Vaseline instead of lip-gloss. It's just the same stuff, petroleum jelly anyways. Vaseline's also great for chapped skin, but that's another story…
