“… A tattoo?”

Red glanced at Lance in surprise. “Why not?”

“Explain to me again why you want to get a tattoo.” Lance rephrased.

“Because it's pretty?” Red suggested.

“I am not letting you deface your body with an inked picture! The pierced ears are all right because we use the earrings as communicators but I draw the line at a tattoo.”

“You're no fun.” Red pouted.

Lance smirked. “Well, if you want it that badly, I'll draw you something.”

Red got just a teensy bit nervous after Lance pulled out his dragon blades.

“Er… let's not be too hasty, all right?”

“Funny you should say that,” Lance remarked, before he pounced. Red eeped as Lance kissed him, and then shut up because there were better things to do with his mouth.

 

The next morning, he woke up with brilliant red draconic patterns carved all over his arms. He stared for a few moments, before he shook his head in disbelief. But they did look cool.

No wonder it had hurt so much last night.
