"Finally," Rukawa mumbled happily,

Rukawa was on the airplane to America finally, and even though he didn't look happy, he was happier than ever. All his life he had been waiting for this day and finally the roaring sound of the airplane was in his ears.

" Five hours and twenty-six minutes until we reach the golden state," the recorder announced,

"Idiot" Rukawa mumbled like always.

Rukawa was there now. He liked the smell of the cold air, and the blonde hair, and the blue eyes. At that time Rukawa didn't know that America was more than his golden dream of becoming the best basketball player in the world. It was going to be harder than that…

"Life's not that hard here." Rukawa thought out loud. "I can't believe I actually wanted to stay at her house."

The air was cool, and even though Rukawa was only in his basketball uniform he still thought it was hot. All the girls coming to pick up someone kept starring at him, and the more girls he saw that were Americans, the more he felt softer in his heart for girls.

Life was going to be great here, he thought. But he wasn't all to right about that…
