Ichi

Sehera's POV

"Hey Nile, I'm back." I tell the river, my only friend, "I wish okasan didn't marry that motocross baka!"

Pain in my throat. He heard me. He's choking me. Water. He's drowning me. Darkness. I fainted.

I wake up later in something blue and soft. Fur. I hear a masculine scream coming from up ahead of me. I look up. Cartier's running for his life! I allow a loud laugh to escape my lips.

We stop. He keeps running, screaming. Gone. I clamber off with little trouble considering how high it was. After closer inspection, I realize that it was a snakelike dragon.

"Arigatou." The dragon looks back at me with caring, smiling eyes +Your welcome+ prickles in the back of my mind. The dragon. I ran up to him and gave him a hug on his muzzle. Something coming out of the dragon's face close around me. He's hugging me back. +I'll always be there for you and always be your friend. I'll always protect you from him+

"Sen!" okasan `Oh I am such a baka!' I thought. "I have to go now," I say to the dragon. I kiss him on his cold wet nose. He lets go of me. I run to my mom.
