People always say that school
Can jumpstart anyone’s career
To me, it’s all wasted time
School is nothing more than a distraction
From the four walls that surround you at home
People you may meet in school may forget your name
And even forget the memories that the two of you have created.
How can one connect with anyone in any way?
What bond presents itself when two people meet?
What bond exists when the two spend time together, laugh and cry together?
Is there such a connection, or is it merely
A fabrication of many authors before our time?
Am I crazy for asking these questions?
Probably.
Do I care if people think I’m some whack job?
Of course I do.
But they cannot control my thoughts, feelings, or actions.
