For all their bumbling idiocy, they were good companions. They tried to do right by her to the best of their abilities, even if they didn't always have the money to. Sometimes, she wouldn't see them for days. That always made her sad, because she missed the chattering of the blond, and the soft flick-snap of the brunette's lighter. In turn, she did her best by them, looking out for their best interests. So when she left them stuck out in the middle of nowhere, she did for their own good.
