I Won't Say I'm In Love

(The vidfic starts out with Mai Valentine walking in a park. She sees a couple on a bench, smooching, and she turns away, thinking about her and Joey. She starts singing:)

* If there's a prize for rotten judgement

I guess I've already

Won that

No man is worth the

Aggravation

That's ancient history-

Been there, done that! *

(She walks past the chorus members- Tea, Serenity, Miho, and Ishizu- sitting on a bench. They begin singing:)

* Chorus

Try to keep it hidden

(Mai shakes her head)

(The chorus turns their heads to watch her)

(Mai leans against a statue and looks at it. It's a cupid statue holding a bow with an arrow notched on it. Sighing, she gets up and walks away)

* It's too cliché

Learned its lesson

(The chorus members watch her from on a playground. Tea and Serenity are on the swings, Miho is on a slide, and Ishizu is sitting on the jungle gym)

(Mai leans against a tree)

(The chorus members lean out from behind nearby trees)

(Mai turns away again)

* This scene won't play, I won't say I'm in love *

(She walks over to a fountain. She watches her reflection in the water. The chorus members' reflections can be seen as they sing:)

(Mai turns away from the fountain quickly)

* You're way off base

I won't say it

Get of my case

I won't say it *

(But the chorus members still follows her, singing softly)

* Girl, don't be proud

It's O.K. you're in love*

(As she nears the other side of the park, Mai sees Joey waiting for her at the gates. Smiling, he puts his arm around hers, and they walk off. Mai turns her head around and smiles.)

* Oh

At least out loud,

I won't say I'm in love *
