Chapter 6

Legal stuff: I do not own Ranma or yu yu hakusho. I do however own the techniques that Cologne uses to fight Genkia with. This goes for all of my fanfics that I write. Chapter 6

"Come on guys! Open up!" Boton pounded on the spirit detective's door. She was about to pound again when Kurama opened the door, dressed and smiling.

"Hello Boton, come in." He stepped aside and she stepped inside, instantly seeing Hiei with his eyes closed, leaning on the wall, Yusuke with only some sweats on his tooth brush sticking out of his mouth, and Kuwabara sitting on the one person chair sucking on his thumb sleeping.

"Where's Ranma?" She asked aloud not seeing him. Yusuke got up and peeked into the bed room, were Ranma was in his sweats and tank top, tangled up in his blankets, slightly snoring.

"He's harder to wake up than the monkey." Yusuke said motioning toward Kuwabara when he said the monkey part. He suddenly got a nice evil twinkle in his eyes, which made Boton slide over to where Kurama was standing.

He went into the bed room and peek at Ranma before pulling a bucket of cold water from behind his back and splashing Ranma awake. He ran out of the room with speed that almost matched Hiei's, but Ranma-chan caught his ankle and he fell face first onto the floor.

He turned she walked out taking care into stomping Yusuke's head into the ground, before ringing out her pigtail on his head, and plopping down onto the couch.

Once again Yoko struggled at the confines of Kurama's mind, demanding he be let out. Every time Ranma transformed, he would struggled, only to have Kurama chain him up.

~What is it this time Yoko?~ Kurama asked.

~Why don't you listen to me!? Let me out!~ Yoko yelled back.

~Tell me why?~ Kurama said, oblivious to the fact that his teammates were talking.

~My reasons are none of your business! Let me out!~ Yoko yelled his mental eyes started to glow red. But Kurama locked him up in the confines of his mind and turned his attention to listen to the conversation.

"Well your first match is in an hour. But Yusuke! Guess who I ran into!" Boton said her excitement getting the better of her. But before he could answer `Who?' she couldn't hold it in and spilled the information.

"Jin and Touya! They said Rinku and Chu are here too! Their all on the same team too! They're the first people you'll be fighting!" Boton cried and smiled.

"Who the heck are ya taking about?" Ranma-chan asked, taking a few of the donuts and devouring them.

"They're a few of the fighters from the last dark tournament. We fought them and won, even though Rinku won ageist Kuwabara." Kurama answered glancing towards Kuwabara.

"Hey isn't he supposed to be looking after the human race while we're gone?" Ranma asked throwing a pastry at the monkey's head.

"He was but my father apparently heard about him and assigned one of his personal detectives to keep the demons in his place." Koenma sighed as he walked into the room followed by everyone else.

"You know he's going to want to be our sub fighter right?" Genkai said, standing next to her grandson, currently granddaughter.

"Yeah but we already worked that problem out. If Ranma's well enough to fight for 2 fighters then he gets to do it, otherwise, we get Koenma again." Boton said.

"What about us sugar? We can fight to you know." Ukyo said, her hands going to her hips.

"You insult Shampoo! Shampoo mighty Amazon warrior! Can fight in place!" Shampoo said, her bonbori's appearing in her hands.

"Yes but are either of you ready to kill a demon?" Yusuke asked, seeing Ukyo shrug and Shampoo nod.

"Shampoo receive training from great grandmother past week. Is much much better than before." Shampoo replied.

"We'll see." Yusuke said getting up to change.

"Oh my, Ranma, do be careful when fighting." Kasumi said sitting down next to him.

"Alright Kasumi, I'll be careful." Ranma-chan said, looking at the monkey, as a light bulb clicked on over her head.

"Hey ya know what. The monkey over their could be yer guy's bodyguard when walking around. Of course he won't be able to protect Ukyo or Shampoo, seeing as they can beat him easily." Ranma-chan said looking over to Koenma.

"Yeah, his code of honor won't let you guys get hurt." Yusuke said walking in in his regular white T-shirt and blue jeans.

Ranma-chan got up and went into the room they were all sharing.

"Any of you perverts peek and I'll give you a pounding you'll never wake up from." Ranma-growled and shut the door.

"Ranma's still the same old Ranma. Always will be." Ukyo sighed as Shampoo hit Kuwabara over the head making him wake up.

"What the hect was that for!?" Kuwabara yelled, making Hiei smirk.

"You annoy Shampoo when asleep, make loud noises." Shampoo said, crossing her arms in front of her.

"Yo, Kuwabara, your job is to protect the girls while we fight. Can you handle that monkey?" Yusuke asked stretching and cracking his neck.

"Of course- hey don't call me monkey Urameshi!" Kuwabara took a swing at Yusuke, Yusuke stepped out of the way and both idiots began to fight.

"Oh my! Will those two be alright?" Kasumi asked looking over at Genkai who was shaking her head.

"The dimwit will be fine, and the monkey will be unconscious. We'll just leave him here." Genkai said noticing Yusuke had won with Kuwabara under his feet.

"Yo, Ranma! Hurry it up will ya!" Yusuke shouted as he stepped off Kuwabara and threw him on his one person chair.

Ranma-chan came out wear an over sized red T-shirt, and her pair of black sweats she wore yesterday, with the Soatome blade strapped to her side.

"Borrowed some of your clothes Yusuke." Ranma-chan said walking towards the door with her hands in her pockets.

"Sure, whatever. Let's get going." Yusuke said following Ranma-chan out the door followed by the rest of he gang.

"Since you three are new here you might want to stay close, no telling what could happen to you." Kurama told Kasumi, Shampoo and Ukyo.

As they walked down the halls, demons stopped and pointed towards the group, some cowering in fear, some running away at the sight of them.

"Yo, what's with these morons?" Ranma-chan whispered to Yusuke who was beside her.

"We won the last tournament and said we were never coming back, guess their wondering what were doing here." Yusuke said back, loud enough for the three girls to hear and nod their heads.

Ranma-chan nodded and went back to looking around. She noticed out of the corner of her eye that one demon was looking at her and smirking. But it wasn't one of those perverted smirks, more like a `I-know-something-you-don't' smirk. This demon had short lime green hair and was apparently female, because of the purple lipstick and make-up. Along with her revealing outfit that showed off her curves and breasts.

Something about the demon gave her the chills so she looked away curious that they had just walked up to the fighting arena. No wait, arenas.

"Looks like they decided to make things more interesting." Kurama said.

"Come with me ladies, this time you'll be sitting with me." Koenma said, and walked off with Kasumi, Yukina, Keiko, Ukyo, and Shampoo. Boton stayed behind, just incase her powers were needed.

The arena had changed into 2 arenas that stood next to each other, each the same size as a football field only rounded off. Both arenas were separated.

"Hello! My names Yuri and I'll be your announcer!" Yuri, the fish girl from last year shouted from one of the arenas.

"This year, there are 2 arenas for only one reason! The crowd must be entertained!" Yuri shouted, earning her a great deal of shouts and cheers.

"Okay people! In this corner, the champion team from the last tournament, Team Urameshi!!" That comment earned them a number of cheers, which made Yusuke roll his eyes.

"And other here we have the fierce opponents, Team Sake?" Yuri pulled out a piece of paper, and re-read it, before putting it away and clearing her throat. "Team Sake!" Yuri extended her hand showing the team built up of Jin, Touya, Rinku, Chu and an old looking female demon, which looked almost exactly like Jin. All of who, besides Chu, were shacking their heads.

"Why did we ever make that damn bet." Rinku complained, voicing what was on everyone's mind.

"Well ya made a bet and ya lost. AHAHAHAHA!" Chu said and started to laugh making his teammates sweat drop and move away from him.

(AN: I am very very sorry but I forgot how to write Jin's accent and my little sister has my tapes right now so I'm very sorry! Please if you've seen the dark tournament, when Jin talks, imagine that he's saying the words in his accent, otherwise for all the people who haven't, Jin's accent is Irish. Sorry!)

"Hey ya Urameshi! How ya been?" Jin asked shouting.

Yusuke shook his head smiling and put on the classic ear-to-ear grin.

"Alright will team captains, please come set the terms." Yuri announced. Yusuke and Chu stepped up on the arena and smirked at one another.

"How `bout two on tow Urameshi?" Chu said, his smirk turning into a grin.

"Fine with me." Yusuke said, and walked back to the rest of the team.

Touya and Jin had stepped up onto one arena while Rinku and the old woman stepped up to another.

Ranma-chan and Hiei, at the same time went over to the arena where Jin and the old woman were while; Kurama and Genkai went over to Rinku and Touya.

"Ah great. We get stuck with the tough ones. What happened to that monkey that fought me before?" Rinku wined.

"There you have it people! In the first arena we have Hiei and Ranko vs. Dori and Jin! And in the second arena we have Kurama and Genkai vs. Rinku and Touya!" Yuri paused for the cheering to go down, then continued.

"The rules are the same as last time, let the fighting begin!" Yuri ran off the first arena and went to the side lines to watch.

Arena # 1

Hiei and Ranma-chan vs. Jin and Dori

As soon as Yuri announced the fight to begin, Jin took to the air along with Dori, while both Ranma-chan and Hiei jus stood there with their hands behind their backs, both had that annoying smirk on their faces.

Jin and Dori glanced at each other before throwing some light whirl wind cyclones at the pair. Both disappeared at the same time and then appeared behind the wind demons and attacked. Ranma-chan with his Katsu Tenshin Amaguriken and Hiei with his sword, each delivering over 300 blows before reappearing in their original spot, just Hiei with his sword out and Ranma-chan with her arms crossed over her chest, both still smirking.

They watched as the wind demons quickly recovered from the attacks.

"That's pretty good! Care to go to dinner after I beat ya?" Jin grinned at Ranma-chan making her glare and at him and growl, surprisingly well for a human.

%Calm down% Hiei said in Ranma-chan's mind, before she blew her top.

%Easy for you to say, you don't have a perverted demon asking ya out! It's wrong!% Ranma-chan said back.

Dori ignored Jin's remark and lowered herself to the ground, apparently angry.

"No one steals my guy!" She yelled angrily before twirling on one foot and creating a tornado, which was aimed for both of them.

Ranma-chan would have rolled her eyes and yelled something like `I don't want the idiot' but she focused on the fight. Jin sighed and flew into the tornado and it grew a bit before coming at them at a faster speed.

%Hiei, can you heat that tornado up for me?% Ranma-chan asked while jumping to the side.

%Hn. Childs play.% Hiei said back to her and summoned up his fire. Since the tornado was aimed mostly at Ranma-chan, he used his `Fist of the Mortal Flame to heat up tornado which earn him a thanks from Ranma-chan and he started to avoid Ranma-chan as she danced around the arena in a familiar spiral. Nut to get to the middle, Ranma-chan would have to jump into the tornado, so she waited for the right moment and jumped into the middle, not waiting to unleash his attack.

"Hiryuu Shoten Ha!" Ranma-chan's fist connected with the heart of the tornado, creating an even bigger one, that Jin or Dori couldn't control, so they just went along for the ride.

%Hiei, feed the tornado more fire, and hurry!% Ranma-chan yelled in his head. He could sense her in the middle of the tornado, holding her soul of ice and concentrating.

Hiei let more Fist of the Mortal Flame which only turned the tornado into a fire tornado.

"Ranm-Ranko!" Yusuke yelled, sensing her in the middle of the whole thing.

Though Ranma-chan wasn't hurt at all, though her clothes had seen better days. She focused her Spirit energy and the soul of ice together, sending out one powerful blast making the tornado follow the blast and slowly disappear into the sky. The remains of the two wind demons, twitched a every now and then but that didn't bother anyone.

Ranma, after sending out the blast of spirit energy that propelled him out of the tornado, landed next to Hiei. One of the shoulders of her shirt and the whole bottom half was burned, but other than that, the shirt held up fine, since the neck line was still intact.

%Your a show off.% Hiei said to Ranma-chan's mind, which made her smile.

%It's not my fault that I know lots of showy techniques. Besides that, you should talk more.% Ranma-chan and Hiei glided off the arena, to where a stunned Yusuke and Boton awaited them.

"Where the hec did you learn that?! And look what you did to my shirt!" Yusuke yelled in half amazement and half anger. He earned himself a smack over the head with Boton's oar.

"What he means to say is are you alright and congratulations." Boton smiled, as she walked over to him and started to check for signs of injury.

Ranma-chan shrugged and turned to the fight that was going on in the ring, telling them later she would explain about not being burned to a crisp.

E'llo!!! Much thanks to all of my reviewers that helped and encouraged me! Chapter 7 should be coming real soon, if I can get more good reviews. This is not going to be a Ranma/Hiei fanfics, or a Ranma/Kasumi fic. This is a Ranma and Boton fic, but Hiei could be with Ukyo, or Shampoo or Kasumi. The same goes for Kuwabara. If you can find a female/male character that is seen regularly threw episodes besides Cologne then ask and vote. Nabiki could end up with Kuwabara! That's why you guys and girls must vote for pairings! You must stop Kuwabara from getting with Nabiki! Save her, and she would ruin your life, much.

Thank you for all of your words of encouragement. But I'm going to argue with a comment made by one of my reviewers that will remain un-named.

I do believe that the Cat fist is an unbeatable technique. If Ranma's mind switches to that of a cats, but his cat instincts are far more enhanced than that of a real cat. He's has a sixth sense to sense danger, like a spidy sense from Spider Man, that alerts him ahead of time to get out of the way, and with his speed so far enhanced, he couldn't be hit by a bullet like you claim. But I do agree with you that if Ranma in Cat mode would somehow get hit by a bullet, though it is impossible, in the head or any other instant killing places, Ranma would die, and the technique wouldn't be so unbeatable. But it is quite impossible for someone to hit Ranma while in this mode so oh well.

And to the little `Wanna bee punk' that likes to insult my other readers. I couldn't care less what you think, if you don't like my fic, then don't read it. But don't insult my readers just because they have different opinions than you do. You can insult me all you want, because some of it's true. Yes I'm ignorant, and I'm proud of being ignorant. Go insult someone that cares, Bo. I'm god in my fic so everything goes by MY opinion alone, unless somebody of importance, which is not you, helps me improve my fic.
