Innocent wonder dance across his features

Dark eyes, wayward hair, my brave warrior

Strength and skill, patience and love

Hopeful purity within his soul

He touches all, affects all

I am more than I was

For having known him

He chases away the shadows before they

Can cling

Battles all my demons and keeps me safe

And warm

There is no place I'd rather be

Than circled within his arms

His playfulness amuses me

His strength astounds me

His love surrounds me and makes me whole

I close my eyes and see his face

I can feel his lips touching mine, so softly

So honest and true, he gives all he has

All he can and all he is

In a simple kiss

I close my eyes and dream about his smile

Warm, bright and full of sunshine

I see his eyes sparkling back at me

All my hopes and dreams are reflected in those eyes

Those eyes that look at the world with such

Love and devotion.

His passion for the world and it's inhabitants leaves me

Awestruck.

He loves unconditionally and fights to keep us unscathed

I will wait for him and live for the day I see his beaming smile

While he gone, far from where I stand, securing our future

I will go to sleep at night and dream of his face, his eyes, his smile

And I will wonder before I allow sleep to claim me

When he closes his eyes at night....does he dream about me?
