I glided throughout the streets. Nobody heard me… everyone was asleep.

Damn… there had to be at least one person awake here… One person wandering… alone.

All I needed was one person.

Just one person… the same as always. Just one person every day to keep me alive. To help me thrive…

I needed very little… not much at all.

There… I spotted somebody walking alone. I couldn't tell who it was… Male or female… Whether I knew him or he…r or not… I just obviously didn't know.

And I don't care.

I swooped down.

There was a piercing scream, breaking the silence.
