*stumbles in a little late* Sorry I'm so late! T.T I was stuck babysitting my niece and random cousins during their spring break. In the previous chapter 23 (methinks)- Holy.Cosmos.Above. From the moment Lee turned around and Gaara appeared before him so suddenly, I started to feel as if I was right there! O.O I kid you not, I felt like I was right there with Lee and Gaara just watching them argue and talk. I nearly fainted half-way through the chapter! It was so very, very intense. The only way I managed to read it through to the end (mind you, I read most if it with my hand covering my eyes and peeking through my fingers...maybe I was seeing everything through the point of view of some of the cactus pieces around Gaara's feet or something ^^; ) was the fact that I could never ever stop reading a chapter halfway through. I always, always finish up a chapter completely before I stop reading, even in books. Anyway, back to the chapter... "If you say no, you can run off. You will go straight home, and you will not move from there. When I come back for you later, you had better not say no." --LOL! That line got to me it did! Woo... What was left of Lee's reason chose this moment to remind him that there was going to be a tally for this wild crazy thing they were doing, and Gaara might remember events a bit differently unless Lee made it very, very clear he was participating of his full free will. He should- should reassure his lover that- huh! Ah! "Harder!" he shouted. --*goes into a laughing fit* Holy Hera, I thought that part was bloody hillarious. And in the middle of something so serious, I had burst out laughing. XD In chapter 24- "If you want to leave, then you have to do it now. Do it quickly. Leave Suna tonight and don't let me see you go." --*tears gush down face* Aww... " I may not be a good diplomat, but I am good at fighting, and I'm going to fight this. Tooth and nail." --Darn straight! Woo! Go Lee!! ><
"I'm not staying here a minute more than I have to. That woman," Gaara added neutrally, "I would hate to have her as an enemy." --ROFLMAO!!! "If I did not have Suna to take care of, she could have made me her personal lapdog for the rest of my natural lifespan, and I would have been happy to oblige as long as we were together. I've had to pay in blood and pain for everything good in my life; so have you. What she wants from us is insignificant in comparison to what we'll gain. Don't you agree?" --*tears gush down face* Awwwwww....;.; In side story a family reunion- Before-last part of DR: another sidestory, fairly short. The epilogue to the story should be out in 2-3 weeks. But I should be posting a new GaaraLee story here very soon, maybe next weekend, and I'm slowly working on some more ANBU as well. --YES!!!!!! I LOVE YOU!! T.T I was going to poke you incesantly until you wrote more in ANBU! And now I hear that you're posting a new GaaraLee story! XD Yippee!!! You've just made my day...hell, you've made my WEEK! "So, did it go okay?" he drawled, straightening up and putting his hands in his pockets. "Yes," Gaara answered shortly, almost murderously. --Hahahhaha! In a manner of speaking! XD "We're going to see Gai-sensei," Lee said, giving Kankuro a quick glance over his shoulder. --O.O!!!! Be brave, you two! Be brave! ><
"Gai-sensei," Lee interrupted his teacher's magnificent and loud greeting mid-stream, in a tense voice that brought Kankuro's attention back to him. "I'm sorry, we can't stay very long." Thank god, Kankuro thought, seeing a light of hope in the darkness. --*fits of bubbling laughter* God, I love this chapter!! "Um, something like that. Gai-sensei, there's no easy way- I have to tell you- I'm gay!" Lee blurted out. --*dies laughing* there's no easy way--I have to tell you--I'm gay! LOL!!! I pictured it perfectly!!! *smothers Lee in hugs* Kakashi lifted his head from his book, looked at Gaara and then glanced over at Kankuro. "I'm a bit surprised now," he offered helpfully. --HA HAHAHHA | Title: ::Laughs::

::snigger:: Poor Kankuro... Oh, I was wondering, is that GaaLee fic where Lee gets drunk and propositions Gaara and breaks walls and stuff like a kinda sequel to this fic? 'Cause I think it'd fit in perfectly with the DR universe! Anyways, love the fic so far. Hope there's gonna be a sequel!

HOCRAP! This chapter made me laugh! I can so see Kankuro getting to Konoha, and Gaara's all, "We go back now." And Kankuro'll be all, "HELL NO! I JUST GOT HERE! ::dies/wails::" LOLZ! But, this made everything seem so much more realistic! I can so see Tsunade making Gaara her lil' bitch all for Lee! HOW KEWT! Lee must know that Gaara really does love him for bending to SOMEONE else's will! LOLZ!!!

I'm sorry but i have read this one and the other naruto fic's you've written and i worship the ground you walk on lol! honestly, this fic is so good, everything about it. the characters are in character and i just love how the relationship slowly builds. a year or so and then this happends where as in other fic's it's just out of the blue or rushed. I also love how realistic all the characters act. it took me off and on 3 days to finish and i was sooooooo put off where you left chapter 24 off at >3 but i'm patient.... sort of =\ just don't leave this awesome fic unfinished like allot of people tend to do =| and again, this fic was such a joy to read as well as your others, i just wish there were more writers as good as you around... then i wouldn't have to turn up rocks and stones looking for such wonderfull fandom =3 laters! and keep writing dammit >P

This is soooooo cool! So who was it that Gaara blasted out in the desert? The one's he killed? Will the enemy find out about Gaara's relationship with Lee? And if so will Ororichimaru (sp?) try to take advantage of it by setting a mock occurrence or occurrences or something that will have Lee investigate, or just kick so much ninja butt that he'll tire him self out, and ultimately fall into some kind of trap? OH!!! Lee can't mold chakra that well and do Jutsu's and stuff right? So if he was hit with an illusion jutsu or a sleep one during a fight would he be able to fight it off? Ok so like over a year has passed right or has it been more than? ^.^ Here's a silly thought! What about Lee's birthday? ^.^' I don't think celebrating Gaara's would be a good idea eh heh... And what ever happened to the Akistuki (sp?) are they still around?

Ok seriously? You so Rock! I love this fic more and more with each chapter. How you keep the characters in a believable as in-character as possible I don't know. And did I mention how I love your fighting scenes and how you don't make Lee look completely week and stupid around Gaara? Kudos' to you! Really. And on a side note ^.^ I so want to see how you would have Lee and Gaara respond to either 1) Lee getting drunk some how, as it can only take a sip to get him plastered, or 2) Having someone hit on or make a proposition to Lee, by either mall or female and just cause I would love to see how you play out their reactions especially Gaara's. Would he really understand what's going on? Again I love this fic and the way you write and am looking forward to the next chap. Sad to hear its almost over. Ja till next chap!

it's a little funny byt right now, while I read this chapter (and is writing this) outside my window is a completly different storm, in stead of a sand storm, its a snow storm... great chapter, as usual. must say that I liked the story a lot from the beginning, and after a little while I began loving it, right now it's even more than love... wish you good luck with the writing. hope to hear from you soon. love Yui (^_^)V ps. This is simply amazing. I have to say, the storyline, character, and relationship development is simply stunning. I'll have to thank my friend a hundred times over for pointing me in this fic's direction. You're portrayal of Lee and Gaara is breathtaking and I can't seem to get enough of it. Your style of writing is equally amazing. Being that I love and study the english language, I'll be the first to say that you are a natural writer. I seriously can't wait to read any additions you make to this story arc. In fact, I never would have conceived the idea of Lee/Gaara until I read this. It's brilliant, amazing, beautiful, bittersweet, angst riddenly fantastic, and any other positive adjective that I can come up with. Please... OMG! I love this story sooo much! I read up to chapter 19 in aff and when I searched for it here and found their were more chapters I actually squealed. I have never before looked at a Gaara/Lee fic before. And I have to say ^.^ you got me hooked! You write so well and keep the characters in Char as believable as possible. I was blowen away by this story really I hope it continues for many more chapters ^.^ theirs so many things that could happen between the two just thinking of all the possibilities makes my head spin, and my mouth water. I love how each chapter is so long and so well done really I can't wait till the next update!
