Squeeeee! You are absolutely killing me!!! That introspective segment had to have been difficult to write. Maybe. *dances on tip toes* He chose to keep her! I have a sneaking suspicion that he plans to keep both of his lives. It is so confusing though! His mind is terribly complex, leaving any number of possible outcomes. I can see so many things happening. I'm wringing my hands over Inuyasha showing up and why Sesshoumaru's imposter wanted Tetsusaiga. For shape-shifting? But then, who and why? Will Kouga show up? To remain the leader, will Sesshoumaru fight with Kagome by his side? Heh, there's another option though. They would be unstoppable, though! Will Inu finally come into his inheritance? Oh! So many questions! I only have one request. Pleeeeeease do not kill off anyone. I may have already begged before, but I'm doing it again. I still have the question about the dragon. Maybe I missed something in the series/manga or earlier in the story. Anywho, this is so exciting! I can't wait for the next chapter! ^_^ Snow

OMG, this is such an unbelievably awesome story! I love sess/kag pairings but I have never read one quite like this! The storyline is so captivating and I just love the humor (the whole Sesshomaru actually having a mother rather than having been chipped off some iceburg comment had me cracking up until my bf looked at me like I was crazy). I love it, keep it up! You're a great writer!

*sigh* that was incredible. I wonder if his beast took over completely if he would just fully mark her....hmmm time to lose control seshy!! we want you to be our test subject mwahaha!! and Kagome you too. naked now i say! mwhaha......^^ But yet another brilliant chapter. So much love felt. I also wonder if kagome is going to walk back to the feast with tensaiga over her shoulder. Now that image would be hilarious! Especially as all the dogs jaws dropped. ahah

Oh! I forgot to answer your question. The last scene was great! I loved how Sesshoumaru took off with Kagome. He was all beasty and protectinve. Then there was the bit of tenderness there at the end. The words were a good close to the chapter. Not only did she outperform his expectations, but she also gave him more ammunition to convince everyone that they should accept her. With her story about Sou'unga, she also raised the impression of his strength and power. That comment about Tetsusaiga will help pave the way for Inuyasha's entrance. And, of course, there is the impression that his last words meant even more, that he thought she was perfect for him. It was a very good ending to the chapter. ^_^ Snow

Chapter 24 was very exciting. I read it several times and still didn't get the whole thing about the swords and Dragon of Light though. The only dragon that I could associate it with was the Dragon Strike that Sesshoumaru uses and Sou'unga's dragon, but even then, I couldn't put it together. Could you explain that in a note in the next chapter? The idea that Kagome's powers would react so strongly was great! I really liked the part with Jomon. That was sweet. Enai was too cute. Sesshoumaru is pretty sneaky. I loved his speech. I think that more came out of that than he was planning. She healed his arm! Yay! The way you have youkai and miko powers interacting is awesome. I know that I've missed details. Tannis and Takked are amusing. I hope Sesshoumaru takes Kagome as his mate. *dances from foot to foot* Can't wait for the lemon! ^_^ Snow
