Just thought i'd check in again and see if there was an update..sadly no. I saw that you profile has been removed and I couldnt see any of your other submitted stories so i've decided to take the story and protect it. Its too good a story and means too much to me for me to allow anyone to delete it. I know it will probably never be completed now but the least I can do is prevent it from being lost. I know this is without your permissions but I may put it back up on fanfiction.net. I'll put you as the author of course and your email address but I don't even know your real name so i'll do the best I can. It will be word for word as you wrote it, i'd never dream of tarnishing this beautiful work with any measly attempt I could make at writing it. I'll keep it safe, always. I'll send you an email at the only email address you left on this site so maybe if you get it one day you'll know what i've done. If anyone wants a copy of his amazing story its on notepad file on my desktop. Message me at http://eldessia.deviantart.com/. Again, we miss u and hope you'll consider coming back and finishing this one day, i'm 25 now..I started reading this when I was 15. I always recomend this as the best piece of written works i've ever read, and i'll always wait and look for you in hopes of more of your stories or some kind of closure for this. This, and I do not exaggerate, is the best fanfiction that I have ever read. Your characterization of Link is so, so... Excellent! I love how you took a practically mute protagonist and turned him into the most deep, convicted, sassy, witty, and overall best characters I've read about. How he overcomes all his struggles - just when you think he's about to throw in the towel and call it quits - is just inspiring, to say the least. Godhood or not, you made Link to be the hardest, manliest, and bad-ass(est) I've ever seen him. I hope you continue writing this excellent work of fiction. I'm absolutely dying in anticipation of Vic's and Link's eventual showdown. | Reviewed By: Steve H. I read it about once or twice a year. I would love to see an ending for it sometime. I hope you know how good of a writer you are and how amazing this story is. Great Job! I hope to hear the rest of it one day. | Reviewed By: Myou On: December 05, 2010 20:40 EST Rating(s):Overall Rating: 10 of 10 Comment/Review: Holy crap. Someone who can God-mode Link and do it amazingly well! I didn't think I'd ever see the day. lol. Well, it looks like this story has been hanging for a while, but I'll check back now and then anyway. I' hooked. | Reviewed By: gfdgopfpjoi On: May 22, 2010 23:39 EDT Rating(s):Style of Writing: 10 of 10 Spelling & Grammar: 10 of 10 Originality/Creativity: 10 of 10 Enjoyment Factor: 10 of 10 Overall Rating: 10 of 10 Comment/Review: Started reading your story at ff.net back in 2001 or 2002, been reading it since. Still come back to reread it now and again because it's just that good. You worked hard, and whether you lost interest, or you're just unable to write anymore, I'm not sure. But it would be awesome for an update. I'd be satisfied with a summary of the ending just to get some kind of closure really. I'd like to see what you had planned for the end and I'll probably keep thinking about it until you do finish it, or whenever I give up completely. Thanks for the good read.

I'm still sending anyone I meet here, and often regard this as my favorite story. Period. Not fanfic, not online novel.. Favorite story ever. You'll need to be inactive much longer than a year to shake me, Mr.E.. And if you went and died, I'll chase you into hell for the ending. Haha. Good luck in all you do, friend, and I know you won't forget bout this story. You've put far too much of your time and yourself into it, so I won't even say not to leave it behind.

Each time after the first, I remembered reading this great fanfiction a long time ago and decided to read it over again. I have not read many novels by professional writers that have been as engaging or compelling as this fanfiction. Mr. E., there are still people out here reading and enjoying your fanfiction waiting desperately for an update. There's a near universal consensus among the reviews that this is one of the best fanfictions out there, and I know your fans would very much appreciate it if there were more to come.

It is a priceless, though incomplete work. I have lost count of how many times I have read it, truely. And everytime I smile, laugh, and a msurprised at the same scenes, and in awe of your work. I agree with most of the reviews, especially the anonymous cowards. I dont mind what you do, I just pray you take your time and finish this work, and maybe go on and make your own, I know you have the skills just reading this piece. I cant leave a project or task undone, but I am a professional procrastinator as well. So I can spend weeks and months leaveing stuff undone, I know things happen, but I eagerly await if you descide to work on Lucky Number Thirteen once more.

We're still alive out here, and very much looking forward to an update, Cap'n. The last one was wonderful, and thank you again. But yeah. You and this story have not been forgotten. I been checking back biweekly or more, and I have other people I know are doing the same(or just asking me.. lazy asses) Like I said, I just wanted to make sure you knew that we still are here and interested... And drooling from time to time. Take your time, I know it's a work of art, but don't let it go. I know at least I'm dying for the next chapter, and someday an ending. I hope a couple other people put the same feelings up here as well.. god knows you deserve the attention and encouragement. Take care of yourself, man, and I do hope the rest of life is going well for you.

Most of the time, they're shoddily written by shoddy authors who (literally and visually) can't distinguish a piece of crap from a real book. Often, their trite "works" are so predictable that it actually hurts to read them. However, recently, I was looking for a laugh, so I decided to find some fanfiction so badly written that it would leave me with either the proverbial giggles for days or a wish to never read a single piece of fanfiction ever again. At first, your story seemed to fit the bill. However, after the first few chapters, I realized that I was wrong. For some reason, to my disdain, this story was actually somewhat interesting. Initially, I chalked it up to having known the characters previously. If I had just walked into some random InuYasha fanfic, I wouldn't have known one character's face from another character's ass. But the Legend of Zelda series remains one of my favorites, and as I knew the characters, the story was somewhat easy to settle into. Imagine my surprise when I realized I was enjoying myself. It's all due to some simple things: those plot twists that do nothing but make your mind into a ball of goo due to the effort spent trying to understand them. Your constant plot twists and turns elicited many a "what the fuck" from my mouth over the past few days. Looking back at the initial plot twists, they're nothing compared to the later, more recent ones. Even trying to make a map of them in my head just leaves this mind-numbingly weird feeling that I don't think I'll be able to shake for a while. The story's good, alright, but there were many, many times when I just felt plain confused, due to one of many problems common to fanfiction in general. I noticed quite a few times when words were seemingly just left out, leaving me to fill in the blanks to make the sentence make sense. (Of course, you should be happy in knowing that this (as well as the other typical problems) happened much less than some other fanfiction I've read in the past. Trust me when I say that most is garbage.) As predictable as certain parts of it were, the vast majority were brazenly unpredictable, veering off into directions that are simply unfathomable to most minds. It's rare that there's someone with both a good, creative mind and the literary skills to bring their ideas from their mind to a sheet of paper. As I've read, I've been constantly impressed with the style of storytelling that you've presented, as well as the content of the actual story within. That's a rare thing to find. As convoluted as this story would seem to be to someone who knew just the basic plot points, you elegantly manage to pull it off without making it feel too out of place from the original intent of the Legend of Zelda series. Of course, it IS so out of place from the original story that the fact that this story feels like it actually works is testament alone to your skill as an author. Very few people could pull something even remotely like this off. You somehow managed to pick up the broken jigsaw puzzle of the Legend of Zelda timeline and put the pieces back together incorrectly, and, somehow, the resulting picture wasn't foreign at all. It came out looking exactly as one expected it to be, only with the individual pieces of the puzzle broken and molded into a form of your choosing - but the important part is that they fit, no matter how wrong that seems. Take out the sexual content and what you have here is one of the most interesting, brilliant, and, most importantly, fucked up stories that I've ever read. I can only hope that that's what you were aiming for. My advice to you? Take your time and finish this up, and then get off of your fanfiction haunches and craft an original story, with characters and a world of your own creation. I'm fairly sure that with a little effort on your part (and professional proofreading on another's) that you could have a best-seller on your hands.

Exceptional, period. Great story, loving every facet of it, the expanding / evolving plot and twists, characters... greatness indeed. This last chapter was somewhat shorter than the earlier chapters but still captured my attention with every word. Best fic I've ever read, hope the story doesn't have to end any time soon cause I've enjoyed every bit of it. You are a great writer and hope there's much more to come. Nice that it's here for free but I'd still be reading even if it wasn't.
