This looks promising, but since you haven't updated in over a month and a half I'm laft to wonder if you've grwn tired of this fic or if you're just taking a break. Which ever, I think it has potential and you should keep going. Course, I can't tell you what to do, and I'm not trying to, but I did enjoy your story. Constructive criticism, I would try re-reading what you've written out loud to yourself, and fix some of the grammatical anomalies in your writing. Also, and I'm not sure if you intend to do this later as there hasn't been much but action so far, but I'm a little bit in the dark about a few things, like this vortex and whatnot, so elaboration would be appreciated, but as I mentioned, I don't know if you plan to do that already. Still, everything aside, it's a very good storyline from what I can tell, and it has good potential.

I like the story I just finished seeing all of the Beserk episodeds and I wanted to see if there were any fics only to find out that you made a cross over with my favorite anime Inuyasha. I like the way you crossed them over and I also see that you haven't updated for a while. I hope to see that you do update soon because this is becoming a ver interesting story.

Good job on the fight sequences! Enough detail to be convincing but not a painful amount. I'd like to see where you are going to take this.

Very nice. Very nice. But remember, this is set before guts gets the giant sword. the length is right, but it's only about 6 inches wide.

I'm really liking this so far. I'm reserving judgement till the two sets of characters actually meet--so many crossovers go wrong at that point with one group being favored over the other in the depiction--but judging from two good chapters I have high hopes that you'll get it right. Berserk/Inuyasha is points for originality. They don't seemingly go together, but I can see how it could work. They are two of my favorite animes and it's nice to see them together. One thing to note, you set this before Griffith went evil. At this point Guts wants Griffith to be his friend, or wants to be worthy of Griffith's friendship, or something complicated & subtle along those lines. The lines about being free weren't out of character, but going further in that vein would be, considering the time frame and what Guts does and doesn't know at that point. I don't want to sound too pushy here, you are the writer, it's your story, you're in charge, and I don't have any reason to think you don't know what you're doing. You could have an absolutely superb storyline already in mind--something my feeble author skills could never dream of. On the other hand, I read a lot of crossovers and I've noticed some things that often go wrong. Presenting my concerns for your consideration before anything goes wrong couldn't hurt and might help. Pitfall #1: The two characters fighting for no particular reason and someone ending up looking bad. For instance, with your story, Inuyasha comes upon Guts killing demons. Why on earth would they fight there? (I'm not saying that's what you're planning, just that a fight first thing is a common crossover occurence.) Inuyasha doesn't attack humans unless he's having one of his full demon blood episodes. Guts likes to fight, but he doesn't randomly attack people for no good reason. I'm not saying one can't fight with the other, just that there needs to be a good reason for it first. Actually, come to think of it, a fight of some sort would be quite likely, or at least an argument. Kagome, Inuyasha, Guts, & Caska aren't any of them the calm, peacemaking type. Pitfall#2: The two groups of characters immediately spot their similarities and become life long friends. Two groups might be similar but on first meeting how the heck would they know? They wouldn't even know on second or third meeting because who trots out their entire life story for every new acquaintence so that they can compare notes? For instance, with your story, first meeting I'd say Inuyasha (and to a lesser extent Kagome) could admire Guts & Caska's fighting abilities. Guts & Caska could appreciate whatever help Kagome & Inuyasha give, medical assistence, info about where they are, whatever it is they do. But, they wouldn't be pals to some later date, when they aren't perfect strangers.

Not bad at all. The beginning is interesting, and it's great to finally see some Berserk fics around here. ^^ My only suggestion would be to work on your detailing. The story went very fast, with no details to flesh it out, and that takes away from the overall product. But it's more than interesting enough to make me want to read the next part, and that's the important thing, right? ^_^
