That rarest of fan-fic genres, Noir humor! (The only thing rarer being Noir-fluff.) I had that awful joke about mimes going through my head after reading chapter one. Chapter two was even better--I can so easily picture Chloe doing exactly that. *grin* Now, my only question is...was it the bagpipes or the kilt (because some of those tartans come in very scary color-combos) that overwhelmed our fashion-conscious Mireille? *grin* Good job.
