We are pleased to announce the Winners of the Judged Categories! There were a lot of very good fiction pieces entered this year and I know that the judges had a difficult time picking the best fiction out of what was submitted. Congrats to all of the winners! And Thank You to everyone who entered.


Speaking of, it is now your turn to play the role of judge. You, the members of Mediaminer, get to select your favorite fiction out of two categories.

Then we have our Best of the Rest, People's choice. Here you can pick your favorite fiction that was entered this year but did not win a category. The April Drabble Contest has been announced. This is a reader voted contest and any registered member of the site and forums is welcome to participate.


Speaking of, the voting on the entries for the March contest is currently taking place. Voting will run from April 1 through April 7. Make sure to read through the entries and cast your vote!


Time is starting to run out. You only have six weeks until submission period for the Maximum Challenge Contest is over. From the announcement thread, the contest will be accepting submissions into 24 categories from January 12, 2008 to May 15, 2008. So you've still got some time to polish up your fiction until it shines, just make sure you read all of the rules for submission first otherwise your entry might not be accepted into the contest.
