A few of the details are iffy... and don't quite fit with the chapter, but hey, inspiration is sometimes unwaivering, and I can't change where my hand wanders with the pen sometimes. To cheat, because I can, I'm going to alter the chapter when I get around to final revisions. ;) Black and white... added some splash of color to highlight Kag's and Kik's magics... but yeah, I might have failed on the Kikyo side, cause I was a bit stingy with the green. I truthfully had a *really* hard time deciding on what to do with this image. But, thanks to MirokusGurl2894's patience with my never-ending rants, I finally figured out what to do. The original discarded idea (mostly done) is in my DevArt acct under scraps. Photoshop 7, my tablet, and two days of scribbling. Normally, my chapter illustrations are grey with a splash of color, but... to be truthful, again, I only do that because it's so much EASIER to draw in black and white. However, this illustration managed to come out quite nicely in full color, and to post it in greys would... well... Kind of ruin it, I think. It's not quite crisp enough to work with that layout, at least. ANYWAYS! Enjoy the next chapter, should be posted shortly. :P Oh, blah, before someone asks... The dragon-youkai-guy is missing most of its wing, due to a little mauling by Sango, earlier in the chapter. A darker image for a darker chapter. Those are Kikyo's hands, soaking the rosary in poor Inuyasha's blood... Drawn with my Intuous 6x8 and Photoshop. Used my hand for reference, and scribbled out the rest until it looked neat. Played with the pen tool for the crisp lines, and used the mask tool instead of deleting, you'd be AMAZED at how much time that saves if you decide to move something later on in the pic.-------(I edited the desc, and removed Inu from char specs, since *no one* believed that was him back there. :P I suck!
