This fiction will attempt to be a novelization of the manga, filling in some of the empty spaces with my speculations and interpretations of why certain things occurred as they did. For the most part, the chronology will follow that of the series.<br /> <br /> Some months past, I wrote a short story about Takamiya and Izumi that I titled The Way Love Grows. I like the title and since I feel it would be presumptuous to call the novel Love Mode and because I can't think of a better all-around title for what goes on with all the lovers, that's the title I have elected to alter slightly for the novelization.
