I am no longer at adultfanfiction (dot) net and I'm soooo happy to finally shrug off that beast. Mediaminer is having too many issues, so Archive of Our Own will eventually be my home. I'm just too busy to put everything up over there just now.
Personal: I'm probably old enough to be your mother or grandmother. For some reason, I'm often mistaken for a young person. Thanks anyway! I have a biological brain injury that causes seizures and also have MS. It does interfere with writing and reviewing. Many apologies. After five children and huge houses, I'm in a studio apartment and I'm loving it! Now, if I can only finish unpacking...
Reviews: Thank you so very much and I apologize for no longer being able to respond to each and every review, but I do appreciate them very much. Writing and posting is a two way street. Some say they write for themselves and don't care about reviews. That is the most hypocritical thing I've ever heard. It's too much trouble to post if you don't want feedback. Reviews are not only a great learning tool, but it makes me happy to see others happy. So, I write for us both, I take into consideration what you like, I want to make you laugh, make you cry, make you worry, make you smile, make your nose bleed. LOL Knowing I've achieved my goal means that I'm doing a decent job. Thanks! ---- As for reviewing you: I will do my best to do a constructive critique unless I see no need for it. If all you get are 'Ooooh's' and 'Aaaah's', it means you have impressed me into drooling and I'm in a state of shock, or over-excitement, something of that nature. When I give a constructive critique, it is usually to pay forward all the help I've received by helping you to improve. If you weren't working hard already, I wouldn't bother. If I give you a critique, it means that I think you deserve any knowledge that I have. My energy is extremely limited, so I'm going out of my way for you. I try to be diplomatic. If I'm not, it means that my brain damage has screwed with my head and I deeply apologize.

Make the most of your life. You never know how short it will be, and that goes for the people you interact with. Put yourself in their shoes and try to have some empathy. Treat everyone as you would wish to be treated. It's all you can do, but it's the best you can do in this world. Without warmth, caring, and love, we are all doomed. |
