Sonnet is a super-ESPer who has been trained to use her powers for combat by a not-so-benign corporation. She is told to seek out a schoolgirl named Lan, who, unbeknownst to her also has powerful psychic powers. Well, guess what. The long-suffering Sonnet doesn\'t want to kill people anymore - and this is her chance to regain a sense of humanity and respect. And Lan must learn to use her growing power without being consumed by it. Will they annihilate each other in a useless struggle, or can they save themselves from those who would use their powers for evil?

Sonnet is a cyborg/esper from a harsh background and now trained to be the ultimate warrior and most powerful weapon in the world. She is sent to Japan to watch Komatsuzaki Lan, who is thought to be controlled by the rage of the esper Akai Kiba (Crimson Fang). Lan is a quiet girl who knows she\'s different from everybody else and starts to show signs of Crimson Fang after comming into contact with Sonnet. In the course of fighting with Lan, Sonnet starts to rediscover her humanity. At the same time Lan has to fight to reatin her humanity and control the Crimson Fang.
