This is Beautiful. How long have you been doing C&I. I would love to see in your descripition the materials you used (paint, leaf, etc...). You should also point out that the shine is guilding, not paint. The white work and highlighting is beautiful. Did you deliberately try to smudge one side to make it look old or was that the scan? You might have used a little more obvious highlighting and lowlighting in the draping of Snape's robe just to keep the consistency with the period of the framing around your miniature. Did you use the Morgan Library Old Testament illustrations as your inspiration? Elenek1@msn.com
