let me see the tears in your eyes,
to let me know that you as well cry,
at the thought of us ahving to be taken away.

my mind rushes into the past
only to avoid the future that seems so vast.
maybe if I were a little more there
and not in my own word,
I could see the fear in your eyes,
as well as in my own.

i lost myself almost once before,
only to regain it in pain once more,
you ran away in fear and in hate,
I regret having made such a horrid mistake,
maybe one day I will look in your eyes,
and it won't be of fear and disgust,
but one of more of love and, possibly lust?
but still till that day

I only have my memories,
yet they only fade away,
and I am only here to stay,
but then one day,

I feel as though we'll all be sent away.
