Assassination

Rei trembled in his sleep. Kai, sensing Rei's discomfort, wrapped his arms tightly around his lover, seeking to comfort him even in his sleep. Rei settled slightly, but the dream continued, even in the safety of Kai's loving embrace.




~~~~~Flashback~~~~~~

~Rei P.O.V~

Rei pulled out a dagger from its hidden sheath in his boot, bringing it up to the window before him. He slipped the thin blade through the slit at the window, and flipped the catch on the other side, unlocking the window. He pushed it open slowly, wary of any creaking that might occur. When it was open wide enough, he slipped through, crouching on the sill. Looking around, he established that he had indeed found the right window. This was the foyer to the Guild Leader's room. This was, however, not his guild. This was the Guild Hall of one of the most powerful Guild's in the country, and also a rival Guild. And he had been sent to assassinate the Guild Leader. Tala Ivanov. He jumped lightly down onto the floor, stopping and spreading his senses, listening carefully. In the other room, past the large wooden double doors that lead to Tala's personal chambers, Rei heard voices. Moving as quietly as he could, he walked over to the door, leaning close to it, staining to hear what the voices were saying.

~Tala/Bryan P.O.V~

Tala moaned loudly as Bryan bit his neck. Bryan lapped at the mark he had made, kissing his lover's tender flesh, drawing more moans from his master. Tale fisted his hands in Bryan's lavender hair, arching as Bryan sucked on his pink nipples. Bryan sat up abruptly, covering Tala's mouth momentarily with his own, silencing the man. He listened carefully, his hearing picking up faint movement out side his door.

Breaking the silencing kiss, Bryan leaned into Tala's ear. "Scream for me baby, I wanna hear you scream my name!" Tale looked questioningly at Bryan but complied, screaming loudly, trusting his lover. Bryan nodded then whispered "Someone's outside. Keep up the screaming, I'll go check."

Tala continued to scream and moan loudly, covering up any sounds that Bryan was making. Bryan walked over to the door, his blade naked in hand.

~Rei P.O.V~
Rei listened carefully, his hand hovering near the door handle, ready to barge into the room. What he heard within the room were screams and moans, all of Bryan's name. Obviously that was Tala. Bryan was like him. A demon, his essence tied to that of Tala's by a necromancer. They seemed busy enough, from what Rei could hear. He wasn’t sure about going into the room with Bryan there. Bryan was powerful, and so was Tala, but if he caught them in the middle of having sex, maybe he could take Bryan out quickly. He would just have to chance it.

Rei threw open the door, running into the room, He located the bed, and stopped as he saw only Tala laying there. Bryan was somewhere else, and he knew Rei was there.

Tala sat up, looking at Rei's shadowy form.

"Well, if it isn't my old friend Rei Kon. It has been a very long time." The red head said in a pleasant voice.

Before Rei could move, Tala threw a dagger at him. This was only meant as a decoy, however, and as Rei dogged it with ease, Bryan came up behind him, knocking him to the ground, and holding his hands behind his back. Rei struggled, but Tala had gotten off the bed and come over the fighting pair and helped pin Rei to the ground. Bryan tied Rei's hands harshly, and Rei stopped moving. It was Elven Mage Rope. This rope had the ability to stop all movement in his limbs, for it was woven by elven mages, each strand enchanted with strong magic. He swore loudly, lying to the floor, prone at Tala's feet.

Tala smirked down at him, a very pleased look on his pale face. Bryan stood behind him, waiting in stoic silence for Tala's command.

"Move him to the bed," Tala said shortly, walking over to the bed himself and sitting down. Bryan picked Rei up easily, Rei hissing and swearing the whole time, unable to fight back. The lavender haired man threw him ungracefully onto the large bed, and then stood beside Tala. Tala looked down at Rei, running a silken hand over his cheek, caressing his face softly, mockingly.

"So, Kai sent his Guild Whore after me. I'm rather disappointed; I thought he would at least send someone worth fighting, not some slut." Rei tried to lunge at him, only succeeding at moving slightly in Tala's general direction. Tala smirked again. "Now, now Kitten. Let's not get any violent thoughts." He stroked Rei's black hair soothingly. " I'm sure Kai wouldn't like it if I had to kill you.""Fuck you Tala!" Rei spat. Tala's hand shot out and connected with Rei's face. Rei's head snapped back, a large red mark appearing on his cheek.

"I had spies follow you when you left your Guild Hall. I heard what you and Kai did in that alley." Tala smirked. "Don't think I won’t use this information to my advantage kitten." Tala grabbed Rei roughly and kissed him, Rei did not fight back, he wouldn't give Tala the pleasure oh his respondance. "This is going to be a fun night Rei. Be sure to tell Kai all about it when you get back."

Rei glared angrily at the wolfish man, and if he wasn’t tied up, that bastard would be dead. Tala looked at Bryan and smirked, nodding at Rei. “It’s been a long time since we’ve had some fun like this, hasn’t it Bryan?”

Bryan simply nodded, looking at Rei with an odd glint in his eye that made the cat demon nervous.

Tala, reached over to the night stand and pulled a dagger from inside the drawer. He unsheathed the small blade and held it to Rei’s neck. Slowly, and ever so carefully, he ran the cold metal edge over his skin and down to his shirt. Rei was wearing all skin tight black clothing, much to Tala’s secret enjoyment. It would be fun to cut every last shred off. He applied more pressure to the blade and began slicing through the black material. Rei winced every time Tala went too deep and cut him, but he did not cry out.

Soon, Tala had Rei’s entire front exposed, and he put aside the dagger, admiring the sight of Rei’s tanned skin.

“It’s been a long time, hasn’t it Rei?” Tala questioned wistfully. “Since you took me in the broom closet when I was a youth. Since you used me to sate your need after you had been lusting after Kai…” His eyes adopted a clouded over look. “I still remember you know. How you raped me. It was fine though, because you were of higher rank then me.” He sighed. “The Guild Leader’s pet. Even though you stole my virginity, I could do nothing about it. I could take no revenge on you.” He ran a silken finger down Rei’s front. “I’m going to make you suffer now. Your precious Kai isn’t here to protect you.”
