Code Lyoko: XANA’s Rage Chapter 1 Sissi Delmas, Lyoko Assassin ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ I don’t own anything at all, except the storyline (most of it). ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ “Tower deactivated,” said Aelita “Return to the past now!” was Jeremy’s command ***To: a few hours ago*** “That XANA attack was strange,” said Yumi. Odd replied, “Yeah, how else can birds slice through the school?” "Well, it doesn’t matter now,” said Aelita. ***in Sissi’s room*** One of XANA’s ghosts comes out of Sissi’s hairdryer and possesses her while she’s napping. ***Back with Code: Lyoko*** Jeremy’s laptop beeped. “Oh no, not again. A tower’s been activated,” said Jeremy. “Already? We just returned, Jeremy,” wailed Yumi, “There must be some mistake.” “Well, let’s go to the factory and check it out.” “Again?” complained Odd. “Afraid so,” said Ulrich. ***At the Factory*** The gang got out of the elevator to see none other than the principal’s daughter, Elizabeth “Sissi” Delmas sitting at the computer. “I figured you’d be here,” she said. “But… how did you get in here?” asked Jeremy. “One minute I was asleep in my room and I woke up here. I wanna help with this XANA guy I keep hearing about?” “How do you know about XANA?” asked Ulrich. “I don’t know, I just…” She was cut off by Jeremy’s laptop. “Another tower has been activated,” said Jeremy. “Two towers?” asked Odd, “How ‘Lord of the Rings’-ish.” “It’s weird; they’re both in the Ice Barrier Sector. Oh wait,” said Jeremy while his computer beeped. “Another tower has been activated in the Ice Barrier.” “I hate to say it,” started Yumi, “But we might need her help.” “Oh, okay,” said a reluctant computer nerd. “Sissi, follow them.” “You got it,” she replied, excited. So Yumi, Aelita, Ulrich, Odd, and Sissi went to the Scanner Room. Hmmm… That’s odd, thought Jeremy, Sissi has a Lyoko account. Oh well. He turned on the intercom. “I’ll virtualize the boys first to prepare the way for the girls, who I’ll then virtualize,” explained Jeremy, mostly to Sissi. “Scanner, Odd. Scanner, Ulrich. Transfer, Odd. Transfer, Ulrich. Virtualization.” ***On Lyoko – Ice Barrier Sector*** Odd and Ulrich appeared in their Lyoko attire, basically, a cat and a ninja. Over the intercom, they heard Jeremy. “I’m sending the girls. Scanner, Yumi. Scanner, Aelita. Scanner, Sissi. Transfer, Yumi. Transfer, Aelita. Transfer, Sissi. Virtualization.” Yumi appeared as her Kabuki Warrioress self and Aelita… just as Aelita. What was interesting was Sissi. She was covered in blue shirt, blue pants, a black belt, and on that belt was some sort of laser gun. “Whoa, check out Sissi!” said Odd, sounding “interested.” “Back off you scrawny cat-boy,” retorted Sissi. “I’M NOT SCRAWNY! I’m svelte,” said Odd. “Quit fighting,” said Jeremy, confusing Sissi, “The tower is 10 degrees North of West, about 200 meters.” “Where’s Einstein?” asked Sissi. “He does that,” replied Odd, putting it simply. “Eight Bloks, heading your way.” “Well, XANA’s pulled out the welcome wagon,” said Odd. The Bloks fired at everyone, except Sissi and Aelita. “Laser Arrow,” shouted Odd, launching a barrage of arrows at the Bloks. Not one met its mark. “That was SO cool!” declared Sissi to the “cat-boy.” “You’re aim’s really off today, Odd,” joked Ulrich. “Triplicate!” “Whoa!” was all Sissi had to say. Ulrich swung at a Blok about 8 times before giving up. “And you said MY aim’s bad?” retorted Odd. “Hiii-YA!” shouted Yumi, launching her fan blades at the Bloks. And of course, she missed. Sissi looked down at her gun. “Hmmm…” She fired it 8 times, destroying 5 Bloks. “Cool,” said Odd, impressed, “Laser Arrow!” he declared, finally hitting a Blok and destroying it. “I think cat-boy’s in love,” said Yumi. Ulrich just laughed. And of course, the remaining two Bloks struck Odd for 20 damage each. “Odd! You only have 60 Life Points! What are you doing?!?” asked Jeremy. “Fusion!” yelled Ulrich as he fused and struck a Blok, but not before it could strike back at him. “Impact!” The remaining Blok fired at Sissi. Sissi pulled out her gun and fired at the Blok, both attacks hitting their mark. “Hey, that didn’t hurt too much,” said Sissi. “Of course not,” said Jeremy, “You just lost Life Points. If your Life Points hit 0, you’re devirtualized and come back to Earth. You probably should be more careful, though. That Blok dealt you 20 damage, so you only have 80 Life Points left.” “Now we need to get to a tower,” said Odd. “Here are you’re vehicles,” said Jeremy. They Overbike, Overwing, and Overboard appeared in front of them. Ulrich got on the Overbike, Yumi and Aelita paired up on the Overwing, and Odd hopped onto the Overboard. “Hop on,” said Odd to Sissi. “Uh, sure,” she replied. ***At the tower*** “You have company,” said Jeremy, “Three Tarantulas, 125 Life Points each. Don’t worry Sissi, they may hit you for 20 damage, but you can destroy them by hitting the eye on their forehead.” “Take the Overboard,” said Odd to Sissi, “I’ll take care of them.” Odd jumped off and shouted, “Laser Arrow!” shooting 10 of them, the first 3 hitting one Tarantula, 1 hitting the second Tarantula’s eye, 4 hitting the third, and 2 missed. Sissi was thinking. “Jeremy?” “Yes, Sissi,” he responded. “How much damage does a Laser Arrow do?” “All of our weapons deal 10 damage, but instantly kill if it hits the eye.” So let’s see, 125-30 is 95 left on one and that means 85 on the other. If we each have 100 Life Points, Yumi and Mrs. Einstein have 100 each, Odd has 60, and Ulrich and I have 80 each. Wow! And I thought math was boring! “SISSI! CONTROL THE OVERBOARD! YOU’RE GOING OFF THE EDGE!” shouted Odd. “Huh?” she asked, then screamed as she was at the edge of the sector. ***At the Factory*** The dialog box “Welcome to Carthage” popped up. “I gotta enter that code!” exclaimed Jeremy to no one in particular. He pounded the keyboard typing it in: S-C-I-P-I-O. ***Back in Lyoko*** Sissi was hurling toward the edge when the Transport Orb picked her up. “What’s happening,” she asked. “You’re going to Sector 5,” said Jeremy, “You’ll have 3 minutes to find a key, basically a button on the wall. Press it and wait for everyone else. If you need to shoot at the monsters, do that, but first priority is the key.” As Sissi arrived in Sector 5, a. k. a. “Carthage” although it was never called by that name, she had a little motion sickness. “I feel strange,” said Sissi. “Odd feels like that, too when the arrives,” stated Jeremy, her only contact at the moment. Really? thought Sissi, smiling. The passageway opened up and no as soon as she made it through the hallway, 2 Creepers fired at her and connected. On Jeremy’s screen, Sissi’s Lyoko card registered the damage and showed Sissi’s remaining Life Points at 40. “Sissi! Be careful!” shouted Jeremy, “Find the key!” Sissi looked around. “I see it,” she said, “but how do I get to it?” And while she was distracted, a Creeper connected for 20 more damage. “LASER BLAST!” shouted Sissi, destroying both Creepers with 2 shots. ***Back at the tower*** Odd has just finished off the final Tarantula, and Aelita entered the tower. She flipped as she went to the top of the tower and the display displayed: A-E-L-I-T-A … C-O-D-E L-Y-O-K-O. “Tower deactivated,” she said. Odd watched the tower turn from red to blue and stated, “One down, two to go.” “Not right now,” said Jeremy as Aelita exited the tower, you four need to get to sector 5 and help Sissi. Odd was quick to reply, “You got it, chief!” On Jeremy’s screen, six letters appeared: S-C-I-P-I-O. In Lyoko, the Transport Orb took them to Sector 5. When they got there Jeremy gave them a heads up. “The passage way is open, you have 1 minute, 47 seconds to find the key.” The moment the Lyoko crew got to Sector 5, they headed down the passage way. Suddenly the Scypizoa grabbed Sissi and started draining something, but Jeremy wasn’t sure what. Until he saw her Life Point count! “The Scypizoa’s draining Sissi’s Life Points! She only has 18 left. 17… And the Scypizoa… WHOA! It has over 2000 Life Points! Sissi’s got 15 LP, save her!” “Laser Arrow!” shouted Odd, barraging the Scypizoa in a 200 arrow rapid-fire. “Sissi has 3 LP, The Scypizoa has 17! “Hii-Yaa!” shouted Yumi as she dug her 2 fans into the Scypizoa. Then, is a super flash of light, the Scypizoa exploded and threw Sissi into Odd.” “Sissi only has 2 Life Points, so she’ll need to be careful. And the countdown shows 32 seconds, get out of there!” shouted Jeremy. But Sissi didn’t listen. She hopped up onto a beam, and swung around. Then she jumped onto a Creeper and blasted its Eye, then used the force of the explosion to launch herself to the key and slapped it with .02 seconds left. “WHOA! That was a close call. Only 1/50 of a second left,” said Jeremy, impressed. “Sweet!” exclaimed Odd, to which Sissi just smiled. The 5 Lyokons shuffled off to the elevator and Aelita went to the panel, looking for something. 20 seconds later, the Flying Mantas hatched, and hit Yumi three times. “YUMI, YOU ONLY HAVE 20 LIFE POINTS!” shouted Jeremy. After all, she got hit by a Tarantula, right? Ulrich, who the computer showed as having 40 Life Points hopped on the Overbike and struck down 4 of the 8 Mantas. And of course, not to be shown up, 20-point Odd took out the other 4 while still on the platform. “Okay,” said Aelita, “We need to go and deactivate the other towers.” Somehow, Aelita still had 100 Life Points. Everyone got on their vehicles and rode off, back to the Ice Barrier. ***At the Ice Barrier*** “Okay, there are two towers left to deactivate you don’t have many Life Points left,” said Jeremy, “Sissi, you only have 2.” “TWO LIFE POINTS?!?” screeched Sissi. At that, a band of five Frelions (2 leaders, 3 others) came and shot poison at her, narrowly missing. “They have poison?” asked Sissi. “Yes,” started Jeremy, “and that means that the leaders have 80 Life Points each and the followers each have 50.” “Laser Arrow!” shouted Odd, jumping off the Overboard and firing at the Frelions. He almost hit a leader in the Eye, but a follower blocked the shot, who took 10 damage. Sissi was determined to control the Overboard this time. Well, at least she managed to stop it. Then she hopped of and shouted, “Laser Blast!” and took down one leader, and in a chain reaction, took out one follower. Unfortunately, in Odd-fashion, he got blasted for 20 damage and was devirtualized. “Odd! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!” yelled Sissi. “He’s fine,” said Yumi, “He just went back to Earth.” “Oh, okay!” she replied. “You go on, I’ll take care of these losers.” “Okay…” said Aelita. “Aelita, take the Overboard.” “Huh?” she looked at Sissi. “I won’t need it.” Aelita nodded and took the Overboard, and went toward a tower with Yumi on the Overwing and Ulrich on the Overbike. “Laser Blast!” said Sissi, firing at the remaining Frelion leader; at the same time that Frelion shot at her. Both shots connected, and all three Frelions were destroyed while Sissi devirtualized. TO BE CONTINUED…   So, How was that? Any good?
