An hour later, Aelita is dressed up in her current second season school clothes, she's outside with her friends Jeremy, Odd, Ulrich, Yumi and they're talking about the hallucinations Aelita has been having lately.
Ulrich: A giant bat? You're kidding right?
Aelita: I'm not
Odd: You know princess, when you told me that bat turned half-human and half-bat, it reminds of somebody I heard about
Aelita: Who?
Odd: Batman
Aelita: What's a Batman?
Jeremy: We'll tell you on the way, right now we have a trip to attend to
Odd: Yup, I never thought I'd be going back to where I used to live
Yumi: You lived in Gotham City?
Odd: Used to
Aelita: What's Gotham City?
Odd: Well, it isn't exactly what you call the happiest place on Earth but the best part about that city is that it's where Batman lives
Meanwhile, at the airport, the Lyoko Gang and all of the other students are getting on the airplane which is destinated at Gotham City, the Lyoko Gang are explaining to Aelita who Batman is.
Jeremy: Basically he's like a superhero but without any powers
Odd: Like Superman, only except that he's the total opposite
Aelita: You mean like with Xana and me?
Odd: Well, yeah
When everyone got inside the air plane, it takes off as the song "Come on, Come On" by Velvet Revolver plays off screen. Inside, Aelita is asleep but suddenly she groans because now she's having another nightmare.
In her nightmare, Aelita is running in a dark alley, she is being chased a flock bats, she hides in a building but she ends up being outside again but this time she's on top of a building, then she sees somebody fly down on top of the building and it was the half-human/half-bat creature she saw earlier but this time it was more human.
Aelita: No! Stay away!
The human/bat creature walks towards her and it holds out its hand as it was trying to save her but Aelita falls off the building and screams as she falls but she wakes up screaming.
Aelita: (Screams)
Jeremy: Aelita!
Jeremy attempts to calm down Aelita but she still screams
Jeremy: Aelita it's me! Calm down!
Aelita: (Calms down) Oh, Jeremy! I had another nightmare
Jeremy: The giant bat?
Aelita: Yes but I'm ok now
