Last Time...

The Tamers recently defeated their latest foe, Piedmon, just barely after
being messed with in their minds. The Tamers took a good look at their
relationships with their partner Digimon and were more determined then ever
to stay true to what they believed in...friendship and love. Now, an old foe
in the form of a Deva, the bull Vajramon has returned from the Digital World
and has captured Rika, bringing her to an unknown location. Renamon, having
failed in her duty to protect Rika from any threat, vows to never fail again
by saving her from their old foe.

think straight. She shivered in the cold night air as she opened her eyes
and looked all around herself.

"Awake human pup?"Vajramon snorted as he walked over in front of Rika towering

who she is devoted to protecting no matter what."Vajramon said as he licked
his lips and smiled evilly.

"You see, we Devas are given the traits of each animal we're modeled after...

Rika struggled in his grasp."Hesitate? Why would you, a Deva, with a hatred

Yamaki walked out of the room and made his way through the corridor to his
office where Takato, Henry, Growlmon, Terriermon, and Renamon were waiting for
him.

"Well, have you found her?!?"Renamon asked worriedly.

"Calm down...we're doing the best we can."Yamaki assured Renamon."All we can
do for now is sit down and think this through. Now tell me, how did you beat
Vajramon last time and where?"

"We beat him at the baseball stadium just outside town. I digivolved to Taomon
with the help of Rika and used my Talisman of Light to defeat him."Renamon
explained.

"Did you absorb his data?"Yamaki asked flipping his the cap of the lighter in
his hand.

"No I didn't...in fact, all the Devas we've defeated haven't been absorbed by
any of us except for Beelzeemon when he...went insane for a while."Renamon
quickly said.

"You know...maybe Vajramon is at the baseball stadium. I mean, don't you think
he'd go there out of, I don't know...irony?"Henry shrugged.

Renamon looked up wide eyed."OF COURSE! Have Riley search the baseball stadium
right away, she has to be there, I'm sure of it."Renamon said as she jumped
out of an open window in Yamaki's office to look for Rika.

"RENAMON, WAIT!"Takato yelled.

"Let her go Takato, we'll do what we can to catch up."Henry said putting his
hand on Takato's shoulder.

"You're right...let's go. C'mon Gulimon, we have a job to finish..."Takato said.

"Yeah."Gulimon agreed.

"Great, I was getting bored watching all this drama!"Terriermon yawned hopping
onto Henry's back, hanging on with his long ears to his head.

Back at the stadium...

Renamon and Rika.

before fainting...

Meanwhile, just outside the stadium....

"Whew! Renamon is so hard to keep up with...Growlmon, is Vajramon here?"Takato
asked his partner.

"*sniff sniff*Yeah, I can smell him, phew!"Growlmon said waving his paw in
front of his nose.

"Let's get this steak!"Terriermon yelled.

"Um...yeah!"Henry yelled weakly.

"Let's just go in guys."Takato said impatiently as he and the rest of the
group ran into the stadium.

Running through the halls toward the outfield,the Tamers can to see a very
happy Vajramon laughing his head off.

Turning around, Vajramon saw his "guests" had arrived.

"Ah, you've come! Renamon...aren't you happy to see them?"Vajramon asked.

Renamon sulked out of the shadows and appeared before the Tamers.

"Very happy my love, very happy to kill them!"Renamon teased.

"W-What?!?"Henry yelped.

"Renamon's had a change of heart you see...and so has your friend Rika for
that matter, isn't that right pathetic child?"Vajramon asked the "lowly" human.

"Yes, Vajramon my master. It's useless guys, you have to give up to Vajramon,
he's the one who's been right all along. We've been in the dark..."Rika trailed
off.

"Rika, you're not making any sense, snap out of it!"Takato yelled.

"QUIET INFADEL!"Renamon snapped at Takato.

"Renamon, what are you?!?..."Takato asked.

"I've been wrong about things Takato...Vajramon is right, only Digimon are
meant to live in this world, not humans! That's why I love him."Renamon said

"Now Renamon...would you do us all a favor and kill the Tamers?"Vajramon asked
like a nobel.
