Absentee Father
“Where’s my father?”
The chief medical examiner jumped at the young Saiyan’s unexpected entrance into the hospital wing. “Raditz! What are you doing? You’re not allowed in here.”
“Where’s my father?” he repeated.
“He’s gone already,” the examiner said. “So just be a good boy and go back to practice.”
Raditz practically growled at the old man. “I’ll ask one more time. Where’s my father?”
“I-I don’t know,” the man said, backing away from the wild-eyed boy. “They don’t tell me where they’re sent. I just patch them back together when they return.”
Raditz stormed out of the room. Lately, his anger seemed to be something that had a mind of his own. He had no idea why he should be upset that his father wasn’t here. It’s not like it was a new development. The only time he was ever home was when he was too injured to fight.
