Keeping a Secret
“Grandpa suspects something,” Pan whispered.
“No,” Trunks answered, glancing at the Saiyan sleeping on the other side of the spaceship, “I doubt it.”
“Then why do you think he fell asleep right in front of the door? He’s ruining this for us!”
“Calm down, Pan. We’ll just have to be patient.”
“I don’t want to be patient, Trunks! I want to do it now!”
“But if we try to get through the door, he’ll wake up.”
“We’ll just have to do it here, then,” Pan said.
“Well, all right,” Trunks sighed. “He’ll find out sooner or later.”
** minutes later **
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GOKU!!”
