Thoughts on Honor
Mom told me you were a Prince.
Is it true dad?
Or are you a knight from the stories like Lancelot or Galahad?
You're strong and you're brave just like a knight should be.
But you live for Pride and Honor like royalty.
You asked me to take care of mom and you hugged me too.
What's wrong, dad? This isn't like you.
Then you told me you were proud and then knocked me out.
When I woke up you were nowhere about.
They told me you had been killed. No, it can't be true!
My daddy is a Prince this would never happen to you!
Knights slay monsters not the other way around!
But no matter where I looked you were nowhere to be found.
You can't go dad, I miss you so!
You are mom's knight in shining armor; you are my hero!
I'll revenge you father; this I swear!
No matter the cost I don't care.
For as your son, I too am a warrior of nobility.
I'll fight to the end dad because you said you were proud of me.
