Human Bot

Prologue

Rebirth

The alarm's loud scream had been going for over 10 cycles now, the red lights eerilly moving from the walls to the ceiling to the floor into warning waves.

When the tall robot entered the room in a hurry, his face was contorted with concern and fear. This area was not just any area within Sigma Corp.'s secret laboratories. This room contained live specimens of surviving experiments. Some viral even, thus making the place extremely dangerous.

He moved to the middle of the room looking at every detail it offered him including the bottles of water and red liquid connected... But it took him less then a nano-cycle to find out what was missing. One of the incubators was broken, the glass spread across the floor. He walked closer to it, his confidence high up within him, and put one knee down beside the mess.

Running a blue finger around the peices of glass, he picced up a larger piece and moved it closer to his face.

"Hmm..., blood", his corse and harsh voice let out.

The red stains were fresh, still dripping down the transparent material. He got back up straight and tossed the peice away, which broke again as it hit the metallic wall. He could see a trail from the incubator to the door. Whenever the specimen had escaped was not very long ago, and had not realized it had told its destination.

Only there was a stronger stench in the air. It was again blood, but it was impossible for the smell to come from such a small ammount. He looked around until he found more blood near the end of the room, where cages held prisoners the live experiments. First beleiving one of them had fallen to death, he realized it was merely impossible... There was a console hiding the body from Biodrag's view.

With crushing steps and no hesitation, he walked to the death pattern ahead. The robot in one of the cage now held flesh upon his body, his cellular structure transforming him into a beast who only had the need to feed. Biodrag remained careful, in case one of the cages had let lose also, but they seemed tighly shut.

He found a body, but no head. It had been blasted away with a single shot. The monsters held in the room could not have crushed a head like so; at least not to anyone's knowledge. Blood had splattered all over the body, serving as a sheet under it, and covering the walls surrounding it. The little amount of blood that had reached the cages was being licked away by whatever monster there was. The bloody tag on the body read Andrews Johnson, a well known scientist, but he had been at the wrong place at the wrong moment.

There was no doubt Andrew Johnson had been killed by what had escaped. The problem was, how could it have reached him from so far? No weapons had been administered to it yet...

"Thermoscan."

His view switched from normal to a red and blue shape of colors, looking for heat in the room. The body was mostly cold, so were the experiments licking whatever they could get a hold on, making them go crazy over the nice meal laying so far from them. There was one bright red spot in the room. In the middle of it. Glowing red with heat, probably not has much as minutes earlier, when the alarm finally sounded, but it was easilly visible still.

"Off."

There it was, still warm with crime, the defense gun that had blasted away Andrews' head. The system had to know every scientist on this facility, and would most definitly not shoot at them even in time of crisis.

His gaze went back to the broken incubator and with a sharp groan beleived he understood. "IT" had somehow taken over part of the system to get away, and had balsted the glass protection in the same time, and as it had moved away, had cut itself in the process.

"Mister Biodrag, this is Annie, do you read me?", he heard from his communicator. The little screen upon his arm showed a young blond woman with a large frown to show her miscontentement.

"Yes, I read you clear."

"You have no authorisation to be in this area. You MUST get out of there this instant!"

"I won't let my experiment walk around this place."

"What? What are you talking about", she almost yelled at him.

"I went around most of the experiment rooms and all that's missing is my own: Fiona."

"You mean... the Huntress.. She's escaped?!"

"So it seems."

"One more reason for you to LEAVE now!"

Biodrag walked passed the broken incubator. "There's no actual danger I beleive."

"She'll kill you Biodrag. Please!"

"I doubt she's strong enough for fights. The drugs infligued to her are far stronger then you beleive. Besides, she must be ready for the tommorow's departure."

"Drugs? Yeah right! Then how do you explain her whereabouts?! And The Axalon crew can go along without that bitch!"

He was now at the door. "She encoded the securiry system and shot her incubator, and no, The Axalon cannot go without her."

"How the fuck can she encode the security systems?!", her voice was on the borders of sheer panic.

"How should I know? That's what I'm going to find out."

"You can't-"

"And send someone to clean up the remains of Andrews later".

"WHAT?!"

He cut the communication instantly. Annie was becoming hysterical for nothing. He had a job to do, and he was not going to fail. He went on to his quest, now in the corridor and looking at the trail of blood on the ground, leading east. His steps played with the sound of the alarm raging for him to leave the area, and the occasional woman voice with no expression: "All personnel must evacuate. Repeat, a problem has occured. All personnel must evacuate."

He followed the trail for a few minutes, finding that Fiona had slipped a few times as she had walked to her destination, for the blood was moved or more concentrated at some parts for footprints to get carried in.

He smirked at the thought, and walked on until he reached the room she was in. This one held other experiments in dormant state. The door slipped opened and he had no trouble finding Fiona.

She was kneeling down and leaning against the large tube containing the body of Alana Frangiatti. The blood on her hands had created stains on the thick glass. All you could hear was a tired voice, hard to montion the words, "Mamma...mamma...."

Biodrag walked in with no hesitation and when the door closed behind him, he stopped, watching her, and delighted to see she had not noticed him yet as she pleaded her mother to wake up. Fiona had probably found the body by instinct, or luck.

Her bare purple skin was completely exposed, her features perfect. Biodrag had been the one to make the robot out of the human. In a bad shape she had once been, but now, she was a renewed weapon who would be unleased on an unknown planet. She had become what she hated, but had not noticed it yet. The smile became brighter and more cruel as he looked and realised this. The drugs were too much in effect for her to realize her skin was now purple, that all that was left biological in her body was the blood pumping her new heart and part of her brains.

In fact, Biodrag sensed interest in the new robotic body. Though he had no right, he would not have minded, since he re-created the perfection she already held. Even her tattoos had made it without a line missing. A large butterfly at the bottom of her back, and an unknown japanese sign on her stomack....

He approached her again, this time, the steps clear enough for her earing. Slowly, she moved her head to look back at him, her daze red eyes staring at him, not understanding his presence.

"Why hello, my dear, looks like someone had a premature awakening."

She made no answer, but with all the little bit of strenght she had, she turned around slowly, trying so hard to get to her feet and not succeeding.

Biodrag chuckled, staring at her naked body. "You poor poor thing. Hard to beleive a whole galazy could be scared of such a fragile little bird."

"....h...he...help....", she whispered in a drunken state.

"Help you? Ah but of course I will." He grabbed her shoulders firmly and forced her to her feet then off the ground. "You have a mission to attend to, and you're lucky I have no time to toy with you.", and with this there was this odd hysterical laughter. She groaned at the unreal and new feeling of a touch on her metasllic skin, not understanding it . She could hardly understand what he was saying but she knew it was no good news.

She raised her blank eyes to look into his, pleading for him to let her go, to let her die. He shook his head and slammed the back of her head against the glass of the incubator. She was instantly drawn to uncontiousness.

"Fool", he growled and moved her light body over his shoulder. "We'll find you a new little tube so you get ready to leave tommorow."

The door then opened on its own, a slender form running inside the room. "What are you DOING??!", the young woman cried.

"I'm saving her ass, litterally."

"You asshole, give her here! I'll take care of her until tommorow! I don't trust you shit!"

"You have no right! She's mine!", he claimed like a madman.

"I don't think so", a low yet powerful voice answered him. The large green robot entered the raging room and walked to Biodrag. "You cannot claim a live being as your own. Even less hurt her."

"That's right you bastard! Now get outta here before I kick your sorry ass down to Inferno! Got me?", the young woman shouted as she extended her nails.

Biodrag backed away from the brown haired woman. She had learned quickly to use her new found weapons it seemed. "Fine, take her, but mark my words, RazorShell, I'll get you back for this, oh yes I will!" With another one of these laughters, he tossed the body to the green robot and walked out of the room without looking back.

"It's alright Gemini, you can calm down now", RazorShell told her.

"I don't beleive this!"

"I know, we'll stay with her for the night. Then help her to a pod tommorow, as well as you."

Gemini lowered her head and bit her lips, looking away from the body ahead of her. "Yes.... we will..."

"Everything will be just fine, I promise."

Gemini nodded and left the room alongside RazorShell. A few minutes later, the alarm stopped its rampage, announcing a new era....
