Fan Fiction ❯ Angelic Poem ❯ Different or Indifferent? ( Chapter 11 )

Different or Indifferent?

They say we're wrong,
they say that even when we're gone.
They expect us to live with those lies they told,
Just to test us till we're old.
But some can see past that thin charade,
They are different, or so they say,
But what is the same, and whats not,
to us, its only a test of trust.
But when you pass the breaker,
When you're the only waker
among a city of sleep.

Only then can we be indifferent.
Our independence drags us down,
It feels as if we're going to drown,
But that's how it is always,

So in my sea of secret sorrow,
I will lay,
And wait for tomorrow,
But those few who can see past,
That mask,
Never seem to go on,
They never seem to keep awake long,

Their minds tormented,
Their souls unkept,
for because we laugh,
and we lie,
we keep them from their lives,

so can you still tell me that I'm different,
that I'm encrypted,
so you are new,
has the indifferent chewed you out yet?

Have you chosen to create or
Degrade your self?

Will you blend with the crowd,
Or let your voice be heard out loud?
