Chapter Two: And the Goddess said, "It is Bad"

A/N: In this chapter, people are in it! If you are a citizen of Habatapa, you may want to check in on this story, because you may be mentioned. We are now going into the Moran Era, before Queen Janaz has taken over Habatapa. Also, I just finished reading Romeo and Juliet so in places I use Shakespearian language and it rhymes sometimes.

Darkela smiled maliciously at her new creation. It was perfect. It would stand up straight like the gods instead of crawling on all fours like the current creatures of Earth. It wouldn't be very physically equipped. If this creature got out of control, she could send a couple of small rodents to kill it. Because of its stature, no one would ever guess that this one was destined to take over the world. She would burden it with the pains of her existence: animosity, confusion, doubt, and any other pain she would muster. For inside its skinny body, there would be a mind. A mind so great, it would destroy the land. She thought of what she would call it for a moment. Her forehead wrinkled with thought. Then she smiled as she found its name, human. And the Goddess said, "It is Bad."

Tahila gasped. "It can't be! It can't! It does not make any sense."

"That's what I saw. It was something called a human. I saw it earlier. The species is expanding. A pair just gave birth."

"But where did it come from? Whose fault is this? Who caused this horrible thing to roam the Earth?"

"Its creator is Darkela, but my love, the fault is your own."

"How dare you accuse me of this? She did it alone."

"Your dark humor* that frightened your husband, and he did not know what to do," Lisoni explained. "Hence* he came up with a plan to humor you. He went to Darkela to figure out what he should do to please you. That's where the plight began.

"She planted the seed of evil on earth. She created a race that will destroy all on Habatapa. She has created the human race. They are made of evil and will only cause evil. They are Darkela's relief from all of the hate and suffering she has to go through. And so, because you upset your husband and you created Darkela to bare the evils of the world. It is all your fault."

Tahila stared in shock, realizing that it was really her fault. "Well," she said. "We are going to have to fix this problem aren't I?"
"What do you suggest my Queen?"
"If she controls the humans, then I am going to have to monitor the situation." Tahila looked down on Earth. "They move quickly. They have already built a town of some sort."
"I have seen it. They call it a 'kingdom.'"
"Well I have to live in their time frame. In the blink of my eye they have already created a civilization. I need an Earthly body. I'm going to live in Habatapa, Lisoni. I need to get there quickly."
"I think you should see Flintia. She could make it for you," Lisoni said.
"I'm going to go now. Wish me luck." And then Tahila left the building. Lisoni sighed. This is going to be interesting.

"Moran…Moran….Moran," the people chanted slowly. They were all gathered on the streets for an annual parade, praising their leader, Dictator Moran**. Guards lined the streets as the man passed, wearing robes of white and gold, which shined in the mid-day sun. Janaz Sama, a young girl from a small village entitled "Moulin" did not chant. She saw no point in it. One guard saw this and quickly came.

"Chant," he said.

"No," Janaz replied. This quickly caused brouhaha* among the guards, and the loyal followers. Soon Moran, and all his splendor, came by the scene.

"STOP!" he yelled powerfully. "What is this fray?"

"She refused to abide by the Bigego Law. She did not chant."

"Listen little girl," Moran said. "Until you rule Habatapa, I suggest you shut up."

"Well maybe I will rule Habatapa, you - What's that?" Janaz watched, as did the others, as a giant dragoness (half dragon, half woman) flew across the sky. People screamed and scattered, hiding their children. Janaz stared at the creature, and followed it towards it's destination.

*humor: mood Hence: therefore brouhaha: ruckus (yes it is an actual word)

** Dictator Moran: This character was not created to poke fun at anyone named Moran in current-day Earth. -_~
