The place is like a landmine

If I accidentally step on somebody

They'll blow up in my face

Cursing

Screaming

Shouting

Making a huge scene over nothing

People crowding

Feeding me to the wolves

Betting on my failure

And my pride

I look around for friends

They are all hiding themselves

And acting like they don't know me

So I'm all alone in the lions den

With no one

And nothing

Except myself

And there's no one but me
