Prologue:

 

Once again, she laid her head down to try to sleep, even though she knew she wouldn't be able to. She even knew that if she went to sleep, she would have the dream; the same dream that she's had for weeks on end. Her friends had noticed the change in how she had been acting. She was gloomier and more depressed than usual, which is pretty gloomy for her.

*KNOCK*KNOCK*KNOCK*

“Raven, come on out, you've been in your room for days!” yelled Beastboy in yet another attempt to get Raven out of her room.

“Not only that,” Cyborg added, “But you must be starving!”

“I'm not hungry, and I'm not going to come out.” Raven said through the tiny crack between her door and the wall. She then slammed the door with so much force that it almost knocked Beastboy to the ground.

*BEEP*BEEP*BEEP*

Sounded the alarm.

Raven groaned, saying to herself, “I knew it would never last.”

Thus the worst day ever had begun…
