The Gateway Into Eternity
Prologue
A legend exists on the wind of the planet Holodrum. A legend of a mystical portal with the power to grant anyone who passed through it immortality, eternal youth, and unmatchable power and skill. This legendary portal was called 'The Gateway Into Eternity'. The legend says that this portal was once used by the great samurai, Yuritomo, so that he could bring peace to the chaotic planet, which at the time was plagued with demons and monstrous wildlife. He succeeded in slaying over three fourths of the demons, but then an all powerful demon appeared, wielding a large katana with magic runes inscribed in the blade. This demon fought and killed Yuritomo. It is said that the runes were the counter-spell to act against the magic of the portal, making Yuritomo less than a match for the demon.
Written as nothing but a hoax, a legend, or superstition by the human society, it is known as fact to the demons and the elves.
