I had decided to take a walk one evening to ponder my existence and the reason for my exile. It was when I was still new to this world and its people. I knew nothing of the other beings with eternally cursed lives. I wandered into a small forest, sensing the presence of other immortals, wanting to find out for myself what these beings were. I was thoroughly bored with the routine world I had come to be in and wanted something new to see. As I walked, I looked up at a nearby treetop, sensing some presence. I flew up to take a look and to my utter disbelief I saw a young woman more beautiful than the angels themselves. In fact, the angels would be jealous, for next to her they seemed plain and ordinary.
I greeted her, feeling as though I could go blind and still see her lovely face and it would be all I needed to live. When she spoke, it was more pleasing than the choirs of the heavens who sing for God himself.
