The Light of Forgiveness


My feet is cold in a trembling state,
These shivers kept running far and great.
Ive long forgotten but the times late
I stood here long enough to be desprate.

I barely notice those steps I took,
I barely heard the sounds they shook.
Only the falling tears from my book,
Was ever the one searched for and looked.

My bodys frail like an ancient tree,
From the tragic accident that set me free.
That loosen it from the once metal me,
And the cold icy heart that shadowed me.

I gazed at the dark threatening sky,
That poured out rain and sound and light.
It seemed to wipe out the evil they sight
Within myself every day and night.

If only my words could sound loudest,
I would tell the world, my home dearest,
I repent for my sins with all the best,
In truth I say before I go to rest.

I felt my breathing became shallow,
And thought my eyesight was going narrow.
I touched my heart that was once hollow,
And wished I should have been a swallow.

The windows of my soul are sparkling,
Like silver dust as I fell crying.
It slowly closed and began shielding
My own away from the own Im living.

I left the world and my wild dark life,
And opened myself to a whole new light.
Promising me to do good and right,
As many as there are stars at night.

If this was a dream, then its a good dream.
If this was a chance, should I be real?
Is it destiny, Im in fates realm?
Or did you forgive me, made me clean?
