Chapter 2: gain over loss
"Kairi."sora said again trying to figure out what just happen. His brain was slow but his heart fast. It jumped so quickly it scared him.
"S-sora." Sora heard riku's voice from far far away. He tried to reach the voice it was so far away for a few seconds then it came back to him next to him. He relized he was breathing hard and he was on his knees. He
felt riku go to his knees as well and embrace
the brunntte. Riku hugged him tightly and sora grasped riku so tight that it made him gasp for air. Riku picked up sora bridal style and put him in the blue room. The one they were sharing. He layed him gentaliy on the bed and he sat down on the bed putting sora's head on his sholder freeing him to cry. "Riku..Why? Why her? She was kind and nice and friendly
and she made good friends a lot of people liked her- why was she taken? WHY?" he sobbed louder into his sleeve. " Hey stay here for a miniute while I get a towel." he said.
A whimper came from him then quiet. Riku still had his back turned when sora asked a question. "Hey riku,what's this?" sora asked
his voice lifting a little. "Hmm?" mumbled riku
as he steped out of the bathroom with a blue towel with a dolphin on it. "Ahh." he started
but then sora opened it and read it aloud.
"To sora because we'll always be friends with one of another-and have one of another to brightin up our days-with love riku". said sora.
Tears came into his eyes again. Not because of saddness but of happiness. He stood up, keeping his eyes glued to the ground as he walked over to riku then looked up. "Thank you riku. Your a true friend" sora said as he hugged him and riku hugged him back and he swore he heared him whisper "Mabey even more." But after that sleepyness conqured and they went to sleep. Sora unware that in the middle of the night riku rapped his arms around sora and sora did the same to riku.
