Chapter Two:Incounter.

Hotaru walked along the street of Edge muttering to herself,Marlene walked next to her with Emi who hummed happily.Hotaru frowned "Emi" she said breaking the silence after a long time"Yes Hota-chan?"Emi said cheerfully(A/N:Which is extreamly creepy) to her best friend."Stop humming"Hotaru said as they continued to walk,Emi 'hmphed' as she walked.Marlene smiled at Hotaru whom she thought of as her older sister.Hotaru wasin deep thought about the dream she had.What was that key like weapon?why did it choose her?what were those little monsters?.Hotaru couldn't come up with any answers,she raked her brain trying to find the answers.This went on until she heard Marlene screamwith delight,thinking she was in trouble Hotaru snapped out of her thoughts and grabbed her sword.She stopped when she saw Marlene holding a little Cabbit,"Hey Hotaru whats up your not going to attack Ryo are you?"laughed an oh so familar(A/N:I spelled it right!yay!) voice."Only if it attacks me first Koji"Hotaru said with a smirk as she lowered her arm and stood up straight,Koji was best friends with Emi and Hotaru,he was shorter compared to Hotaru's abnormal height but taller than Emi.He had somewhat long spiky black hair and dark eyes,he usely had a group of girls following him so much Hotaru dubbed him 'The ladies man of Edge'.Ryo meowed and licked Marlene on the face,she giggled happily."So whats up with you you look kind of spacey today" Koji asked looking at his much taller friend,Emi was about to open her mouth when Hotaru covered it "I'm just runnin' low on energy today,you know me I need lots of food" Koji started laughing "yeah your the human garbage disposial!" Koji said laughing,Hotaru grinned showing off her set of white canines.Soon they were back on their way to Tifa's Seventh heaven bar,Emi and Marlene was ahead of Hotaru and Koji chasing after Ryo,Koji and Hotaru walked in silence before,without even looking at her,he spoke to her "something is wrong Hotaru I can tell".Hotaru looked at her friend,he had a stern look set in his face,she looked forward "howso Koji Hikari?" Hotaru said in amonotone voice."I can just tell,you can tell me Hotaru is it that dream your always having?" Koji stopped and looked at her Hotaru bit her lower lip.She opened her mouth to say something when everything suddenly froze.Hotaru looked around,everything was frozen to the spot.Hotaru heard soft laughter near her,she turned and saw a tall hooded figure standing there laughing.She couldn't make out his face or anything else other than several large black angel wings jutting out of his back.Hotaru narrowed her eyes,something about this hooded figure seemed familar,like she had met him somewhere before in a past life or somewhere else.She continued to glare at him "who are you?" she asked,her hand touching her sword on the back of her belt.The man chuckled "dear Hikage,have you forgotten about me?"he had a deep voice that was cold and full malice,Hotaru's eye brow rose in curosity "Hikage?"she asked,never hearing that name before."I am not 'Hikage' my name is Hotaru Ito,get it right dumbass"she said with a smirk,she was rewarded with a laugh.She growled showing off her long white canines"Shut the fuck up you asshole!"she yelled at him,she pulled her sword out and held it in front of her.The hooded man stared at her long and hard,he disappeared and suddenly reappeared in front of her.Hotaru gasped and swung her sword at him,it sliced right throught him as he disappeared,Hotaru growled in anger.He appeared behind her and she swung it at him againand he disappeared.He appeared behind her and stood there staring at her,Hotaru turned to him,glaring at him angrily"you know very little about yourself Hikage,you memories have long since been forgotten"he said softly,his wings fluttering softly behind him."My name is not Hikage!"Hotaru yelled angrily,the man chuckled "you'll remember soon" "What?".The man's wings flew wide open and he flew towards Hotaru,she had no time to react.The man grabbed her face in his and knocked her sword away from her.A large shock wave was sent through her body,Hotaru yelled out "let go of me!"the hooded man chuckled and peeking out from underneath his hood was a crule fanged filled smile.Hotaru yelled out as another shockwave went through her body,she held her hand out and yelled painfully "LET GO!".Suddenly alarge white light filled her hand and something solid filled her hand,she grasped the handle of a weapon.The man yelled in shock and let go of Hotaru and jumped away from her,Hotaru held her face where the man had grabbed her,she breathed hard and looked down at what she was holding.In her hand was the same black key-like weapon from her dream "w-what?what the bloody hell is this thing?!"Hotaru thought looking at it as the flames on it rose,"what?!you have a keyblade?!impossible!"he yelled angrily while rubbing his eyes.Hotaru looked at him "keyblade?"she asked curiosly the man grunted "a dark creature with a weapon of the light,how stupid"Hotaru growled "what the hell are you talking about?" "Hmph no more talking Hikage" he held his hand out and a large scythe appeared with a large ball and chain attached to it,"Time to learn your place warrior of the twilight!"the man growled,he flew towards her.Hotaru pulled her headband over her eyes and held her keyblade out.Their weapons clashed,they met in aclash of sparks,locked in a heated stale mate,The man stared at Hotaru as Hotaru returned the stare from under her headband.Suddenly Hotaru's katana shook,the man looked and saw that Hotaru was pulling on something "an invisable string?!" "you guessed it!"she pulled it andher katana flew towards him and she grabbed it by it's black and red dimond handle and swung it cutting off half of his hood and cutting her headband in half while she did it,a mass of white hair flew out and Hotaru saw a black eye with a blood red pupil staring at her,her eyes widen "n-nani?!" before she could say anything the man's fist came out of no where and punched her hard in the jaw,she flew back and landed hard on her back.She sat groaned and sat up rubbing her jaw and looking at the man,his visable eye stared at her,the pupil grew smaller as a cruel look over came him.He rushed at Hotaru,his large scythe raised to strike but before he could a dark inky black portalopened in front of him and a hooded figure stopped him "wait!" the man stopped and looked at the other figure who smelt like burnt fire wood and smoke "don't stop me you simpleton!"he yelled angrily trying to break free "if you kill her now you'll never succed in turning Kingdom Hearts to your side!"the hooded person said holding the man back,he looked at Hotaru and then the other person.Her growled and pushed away"very well"he said calmly,Hotaru stood up in onehand she held her katana Aijou* and in the other she held her 'keyblade'.She breathed heavily while staring at the man "I'll let you live for now Hikage but only because I need you"he then stared disappearing into aportal,Hotaru ran towards them "wait!"the other person held his hand out and a large wall of fire blocked her path to them.She watched as they disappeared.The embers slowly died away and her keyblade disappeared,she didn't care she continued to stare at the spot where the man had been.Everything around her started moving again,life returned to normal.Koji blinked and looked at Hotaru"Hotaru?"she didn't answer,she sheathed her sword and looked up at the cloudy sky"things are just going to go from bad to worse I can feel it,Aeris watch out for me"
