AN: this is the first of hopefully a series of MSTs. The usual msters are myself, Mandy, along with Vincent and Xelloss, but also there will be a few random appearances. If anybody has anything they want me to MST tell me, kay? in bold is the original story

Chapter 1

Nyx's pov

Xel: nyx? Who's nyx?

Vincent: in greek mythology, nyx is the embodiment of night

Mandy: see, I told you he was the intelligence

Xel: well, I don't remember ancient greece

I struggled through the crowds, same as every day.

Xel: we need to get you a life

Mandy: why is a goddess wasting time struggling through crowds

I stopped in front of a large mirror

Xel: narcissist!

Mandy: she's a goddess she has a right, you don't

Xel: I am not a narcissist

At one booth in the market place. "this is why"

Xel: this is why…what?

I know I'm ugly

Xel: then why are you in front of a mirror, you might break it

Mandy: xel! She may just have an inferiorty complex

Xel: I thought nyx was a goddess

Vincent: in greek mythology, not necessarily in this story

Mandy and xel: oh

My hair is a tangled mess, I'm dirty all over, I'm skinny, yes, but it `s hunger induced

Xel: another victim of poverty

I'm frail, have a constant cough, and am too weak to be any good to anyone. My personality has it's own flaws.

Xel: as does everyone's

I have entirely too short of temper, and when I'm not quiet, I'm too shy

Xel: I would think if you were shy when you weren't quiet, you would be when you are quiet too.

Mandy: ahh!

Xel: what?

Mandy: it sounds like me

Xel and Vincent:?

Mandy: from the cough down, though I mostly fixed the shy and quiet

I'm hurried past the mirror

Xel: *mirror salesman* and stay away! I've already got 42 years of bad luck stored up

Mandy: xel! Be nice!

Almost getting stepped on

Mandy: squash the bug! Squash the bug!

Xel: and you tell me to be nice

Erebus

Xel: huh?

Mandy: pov switch

Xel: who's erebus

Vincent: also in greek mythology, personification of darkness

Xel: you!

Vincent: no. not me.

Mandy: red doesn't have anything to do with darkness

Xel: so he's the personification of dusk

There is supposed to be a mortal girl

Xel: there's a lot of mortal girls buddy

Who will become the goddess of night

Xel: okay, maybe not so many of those

The others, especially zeus' little flunkies

Mandy: down with zeus! Down with zeus!

Xel and Vincent: *blink blink*

Mandy: sorry, I'm a fan of Nemesis

Vincent: oh

Xel: huh?

Vincent: nevermind

Are looking for her. I should.

Xel: mmmph *has hand clamped over mouth*

If I were to find her first she would be useful, but there's still the problem with hades

Mandy: the person or the place

He already upstaged thanatos

Xel: Vincent?

Vincent: *sigh* the god of death

Xel: isn't that what hades is

Vincent: no, hades is the god of where people go when they're dead

I'm walking through some city, I haven't bothered finding out the name

Xel: I usually don't either

I hid my aura, but mortals still avoid me. I barely notice someone out of the corner of my eye. It was a girl

Xel: of course…wait…oh!

Mandy: I think he just caught on

Her skin bare stretched over her bones and she was filthy

Mandy: not exactly goddess material, but it'll do

But her coloring, dark blue hair with silver streaks and gold eyes

Xel: ooh!

I tried to imagine her cleaned up

Xel: me too, or being cleaned up

Mandy: xelloss!

Perhaps I wouldn't have to look for her after all

Mandy: huh?

Nyx

Okay, I'm paranoid

Mandy: just because you're paranoid, doesn't mean they're not after you

But I could've sworn I was being watched, when I looked, however, nobody was there other then the people I see every day

Xel: who also need to get lives

A few minutes late I again felt someone watch me. This time when I looked, I saw someone.

Xel: whoopee

Hades

She had to be night

Xel: *muffled laughter*

Look at her

Xel: I am

Coloring, she could be useful, but I also saw erebus looking at her. I'll have to get to her first

Xel: oh of course

Char: *appears, smacks him, then dissapears*

Xel: *blink* where did she come from and how do we get her back

Nyx

I walked a bit quicker, but he didn't try to follow

Mandy: okay, I'm gonna guess the one she saw was hades

I got to the area with the temples

Xel: whoohoo! Desecration fun!

Char: *appears, looks like she's gonna smack xel, instead splashes him with ice water, dissapears*

Xel: cold! No like! *shivers*

It's strange, but the statue of hades looks like the man who was watching me.

Mandy: *hums twilight zone music*

Vincent: seems like that's it for this one until it's continued, if it is.
